My ideal game would be open world where you get to choose the look and gender of your character, you have a huge open world and can literally do anything you like and full exploration, but as you explore you find the game does have some kind of theme, there's hidden briefcases all over the open world with clues and you have to find things. There would be absolutely no combat but it's the exploration that will be the thing because the game won't tell you what you are supposed to do, you have to figure it out for yourself.
I have a couple ideas: -Horror game set in the Metroid universe in which you play as a GFMC trooper, or maybe a scientist. Space Pirates are nasty enough when Samus has to deal with them; for a normie they must be terrifying. -Star Wars: Battlefront style game set in the Halo universe which allows you to play as all canon units from (at least) the Covenant and UNSC. Playable Unggoy would be hilarious!
Yeah, that'd be great. Trek gaming has sadly laid dormant for so long that it's missed modern trends. It's missed the entirety of Mass Effect for instance. I remember hearing that the creators of that series originally wanted to do a Trek game, but weren't able to get the IP, which later morphed into the idea of Mass Effect. Along those lines, I'd want a single-player story driven Trek RPG. You already have different attributes in many of the aliens in the IP, but you don't really have any games that use them effectively. I don't even think STO is designed to use attributes in that way.
Just about right there. The Borg are reapers without the massive living capital ships and powers of indoctrination which the Reapers use.
Yeah, the only thing that doesn't quite fit is the relay itself, since Trek in general doesn't use a jumpgate style system, but rather a warp anywhere system.
Well just substitute those for something else I mean the Iconians had gateways. It's not out of reach for some other race to have had devices like that just writers haven't invented them yet for Star Trek
One of the ones I created myself, brought to modern consoles in living color. Beat 'em Up - Frozen Death Action/Stealth - Liberation Open World RPG - Elder Scrolls VI - Dominion Fighting - Blue Kollar Kombat Family/Kids - Unsupervised Of those, the only one I can really describe briefly is BKK, which basically has a MK style tournament, but pro fighters like ninja, monks, cops, soldiers, cyborgs, or deities were excluded. Instead, the fate of the world was decided by heavy metal guitarists, electricians, mountain rescue crew, construction workers, tugboat captains, plumbers, pastry chefs, and others pummeling each other in imaginative ways.
