Insurrection, was maybe good enough to be a one episode story and Nemisis, wasn't good enough for anything. I actually went to see Nemisis at the cinema with two friends that were mildly interested in Star Trek. They started laughing 1/3 of the way through to my annoyance but by the end i was just whincing in pain and obviously a lot of other fans were too because i could hear the moans of "Oh god" through the cinama. They have never let me forget it.

1. Turning the ENT finale into a bad TNG episode.

2. EMH not receiving any consequences whatever for committing treason in Flesh and Blood.

3. Turning the Janeway character into a cynical old biddy who had no concern whatever about breaking the TPD and possibly effecting the lives of billions, all to make a couple of her friends 'happy' in Endgame.

4. Nemesis - what astounds me most about this film is that no one seems to have seen the vast plot holes in this film during production. Otherwise, I have to believe they never would have let it out the door.

Those are my 'big four' worst moments in Trek. There were a few other WTF places in various episodes throughout...but none in the same league as these.

That's similar to my experience seeing the film. 'Cept it was me and a schoolfriend in your position, with my brother and another friend as the "mildly interested" guys. My poor Trek fan friend chucked out lots of his Trek stuff almost as soon as he got home from the cinema.
