The title is the main question. What was your first car?

For me I currently drive a Mitsubishi Mirage DE coupe 02'
It is all metal and slow, but it won't quit.

First Car I bought was a 1961 Falcon, paid $25 for it. Turned it into a Demo car and made $50 in the race and got about $70+ in Sponsors.

The 1st Car I put on the road was a
1962 Pontiac Parisienne like this one but
the interior was a different color.

The first car I drove was my grandpa's old '72 Ford Maverick piece of shit. It didn't last long; the radiator had so many holes it that there were rocks in it. The heat didn't work, the A/C didn't work, the radio only came in AM, the license plates fell off if you slammed the door, and it ran on regular gas---not unleaded, regular gas. There was only one gas station in town at the time that still sold regular gas. The car finally died about the time the station switched to all unleaded.

The first car that was actually MINE was also a Ford---and '87 Ford Tempo. Basically, it was box on wheels with a hamster-powered engine. I bought it used and kept it for years. It got me from A to B and made college SOOOO much easier. It also, however, needed major repairs on a shockingly regular basis.

Thus began my long, devoted distrust of all things Ford.

Also don't be afraid to post a picture, it would add to the thread a lot more. Up to you, but it would be much appreciated.

My first vehicle was a 1988 Chevrolet S-10 4x4. Had a hangy Rod motor when I bought it. $600 plus another $800 for a rebuilt crate motor for it. Best $1,400 I ever spent, little truck, 4x4 and decent power(4.3L V6)
I drove that truck for 5 years and the only thing besides basic upkeep I ever did to it was straight pipe the exhaust. I abused the piss out of it too. Ended up getting it stuck and slung a couple of rods out the oil pan trying to get it unstuck. Then I sold it for.... $600.

Don't have any pictures with me.

had a 94 Chevy Cavalier. wrecked it then bought another one. later sold it to my brother and its still running.

My first actual car was a 1984 Ford Tempo. It looked almost exactly like this one, just with fuzzy dice in the mirror:

The first car I drove was my Mom's white 1987 Nissan Sentra (looked just like the car below). There was a lot of farmland and dirt roads around where I lived at the time, so I was constantly having to wash the car.

The first car I owned and paid for myself was a green 1971 Olds Cutlass that I bought cheap from my uncle Joe when I was 17. I loved that car. It was a hell of a boost in acceleration (but also gas usage) after driving a Sentra. It looked almost identical to the one below. My friends called it The Green Machine (they weren't the most creative bunch).

That Cutlass is gorgeous. :adore:
Plus, when I imagine you driving it, I can hear "The Lineman" playing in my head. :D

My first car was a brand new (black) '79 Fiat X-19. I think it cost around $8500. Never ran out of gas in that thing ;)

My first car was a 2003 Dodge Neon, which I still have, but now only drive in the winter. :) My second car was a 2011 Mustang.
