What was your favourite mystery story of TNG?

Would Parallels count as a mystery Story? I'm just trying to think of ones that haven't been mentioned, and this was the first that came to mind.

I also liked Identity Crisis (Especially the holodeck scene, which was creepy) and The Nth Degree, but not sure if they count either.

Come to think of it, almost every ST episode could be considered a mystery! Time's Arrow is a mystery because how could Data's head be in a cavern on Earth? Transfigurations is a mystery because for the entire episode we don't know what is up with that amnesia dude. The Loss is a mystery when Troi loses her powers and something is pulling the ship. I think mystery and Star Trek go hand in hand!

Agreed. However not all eps are set up in the way of the immediate teaser to lead you into thinking you will be guessing until the end. Some eps do stand out as mystery's that need solving. Some are far from that.

I think Clues is to obvious for me , just by the title alone lol. Night Terrors was brilliant creepy story with mystery. Time's Arrow was equally creepy in the cavern with the aliens.

Clues is indeed an obvious one since Picard actually says in the episode something about a mystery being irresistible to humans! LOL

Here's another vote for Clues and Timescape. Not only are they the best mystery episodes, but a couple of the best episodes of TNG overall.
