My girl's telling me she absolutely loved the moment that Sulu left the handbrake on. I agree with her.
I loved that part too.... "Did you remember to disengage the external inertial dampeners?"
couldn't help but laugh at this...Pike's "did you leave the parking brake on?" comment. Reminded me of the Excelsior chugging out of spacedock in star trek 3.
All the scotty scenes were great. i like simon pegg but was worried he would ham it up too much. scotty had been on that ice planet for months so no wonder he found this ship exciting!
Urban's McCoy definitely rivals Kelley's version. the humour for him in particular was spot on by the writers and very well acted.
How about when Kirk and Spock are about to transport over to the Narada? Uhura and Spock say their little goodbye, and Spock calls Uhura by her first name (Nyota).

The theater erupted when Spock said that. Of course, the theater erupted in laughter at every very Trek moment, even applauding the first time we see the Enterprise in space.
