Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

I have no clue. It would have been a TOS show, but I don't know what it was.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

As I think of it, I have a half remembered image from "Arena" stuck in my head... so it could have been that.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

The first episode I saw was Lower Decks from season 7 of TNG.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

Mine was the TOS episode "The Doomsday Machine". It was 1979 and I was four. According to my mother, I spent the next six months running around the house with her kitchen funnel yelling "SHIP!" and then throwing it down the stairs screaming "BOOM!". It's not surprising that I asked Santa for space ships that year.

I really don't know, but probably something from The Next Generation.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

I am very proud to say it was The Man Trap on September 8, 1966.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

Something from TNG. I started watching in 1992, but the first episodes I remember seeing were actually from earlier seasons.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

Mine was a sydicated airing of "The Apple", in 1972 or so. I was around 12 at the time.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

Back in my day [I always wanted to say that] we didn't have your fancy 24th century Trek and movies. There was only one Trek and Star Trek was its name...

OT: I do not know which episode I watched first, but it was TOS because that is all there was back then, even though it was in local syndication.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

"Amok Time" in second-run syndication when I was about five or so. Didn't know what the hell was going on, but I knew that the guy in the gold shirt was fighting the pointy-eared guy in the blue shirt--but in the end everything turned out okay and they were friends again on their spaceship...

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

No idea! I saw TOS and TNG both for the first time back in 1992, when I was hospitalized for three weeks after dislocating my elbow during a trampoline accident. I spent most of that time watching TOS: when my parents put on a TNG episode late in my stay, I wondered who the bald imposter was and why that one guy was wearing those silly sunglasses.

First episode title I remember seeing was TOS's "Spectre of the Gun"...after leaving the hospital I found out that a friend of my mom's had most of the shows on VHS, and I watched that episode at her house.

Same here. We're part of First Fandom -- the group who became Trek fans during the show's original run on NBC, long before Trek became a franchise and a cultural phenomenon. A geek elite, you might say.

Too young to remember.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

The earliest recollection I have of Trek is seeing staticy images on an old black and white tv of Kirk and Spock running around in the tunnels on Devil in the Dark. This would have been very early 1970s.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country was the first Star Trek anything I watched.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

It was definitely a TOS episode, but that's about all I can tell you.

This is the first episode I saw, as well. It must have been in 1974 or 1975.

Re: What was the first episode of any Star Trek show that you ever saw

I'm not sure what episode it was, to be honest. It was a TNG Klingon episode, though.
