I haven't played it in a longtime, but I was watching a Borg episode of Voyager and wanted to play it. You have Borg and the Klingons, Romulans, and Feds. You make shipyards and space stations and other structures and must explore the map.

Armada, and Armada 2.
I found Armada one and it still looked great and the sound effects were nice, but I was having trouble with the words running over each other everytime somebody talked. I tried turning down graphics incase it was a memory issue, but it didn't help. I have a Nividia 6200 overclocked graphics card. I had 256MB of memory and added another 512MB.
I don't know what my sound is. It was like the program was trying to run everything to fast when it came to voice audio, but the phasers and torpedoes and all sounded great.

You mean Windows Control Panel? Not some Armada menu I missed?

Okay, I have windows XP. When I hit control panel, there are a bunch of options now. One is Sound, speech, and audio devices. I don't see a slider for hardware acceleration or anything about it. Am I looking in the wrong place? Help me through this in excruciating detail.

I found it last night. The game played great and I had the graphics as high as they would go. I love the Klingon vs. Romulan fight. I'm eager to get a little Federation trigger time in since it is working now, but the Klingons are my favorite.
