What unseen TOS tech would you like to see?

Saul

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Saucer seperation etc. Stuff that was mentioned in the show or by the creative staff but was never shown or too expensve to do.

Seeing the ship land or the bridge ejection system would be cool.

Not necessarily TOS tech as such, but I would like to see a bridge module being removed and replaced. Would they do it 'mechanically' (i.e. actually lifting it out), or would they use a large scale transporter?

Ya know... I'm not sure I WANT to see that!

Treating that as serious for a moment, though, I can easily see a conversation on Earth (during the "command school at the Academy" portion of the film... probably about 15-20 minutes worth of film, total, mind you) that might start with two male characters running into each other in the Academy's public restroom.

The first conversation between Kirk and Spock might occur when Spock takes the urinal next to Kirk's and Kirk points out that it's customary to leave an empty one in between, unless it's half-time and it's a rush! :)

I still think bowel and bladder "beam outs" explain the apparently toilet free future we see in trek. :D

I would like to see the main computer core and maybe the deuterium tanks. I am curious to see the real inner workings of a starship. Oh yeah and the bowling alley.

the cafeteria.

We saw that multiple times.
If we're talking about shipboard areas, and not TECHNOLOGIES, now... I'd like to see the administrative areas of a starship (the quartermaster's office, the personnel officer's office, etc) at some point. Not as a focus for the show, obviously! Just have it seen in passing as two characters are walking around on the ship. This stuff MUST be dealt with, but it's never been shown before, and I'm a big fan of adding "real" touches to things.

Why would a Starfleet quartermaster deal in supplies as opposed to navigation, since Starfleet adopts Naval terminology in almost every area?

What did Spock see when he looked down the toilet? The Captains Log

How many ears does Spock have? 3, Left, Right and the Final FrontEAR.

Two jokes that I was told by folks when I was at school, proof that Star Trek is known by all!! ahahah
