What type of TV do you own?

I own a 1993 Sharp 19 inch TV. It is a dinosaur but works for me! I don't watch TV much, so I see no sense in upgrading until I have to. :)

58" LED LCD Philips Cinema 21:9.

Somewhat old top model from the company, but it has that perfect aspect ratio for watching films AND it comes with the most fantastic extra ever to be put into a tv-set: AmbiLight!!!

How does it feel to watch 2.35:1 movies without black bars? And what is it like watching everything else with huge black columns?
Strange as it sounds, those columns aren't anyway near as irritating than the letterboxing of films - and the Ambilight helps not noticing

dat cinematic feel tho
That's pretty much it!

Bit weird watching old-school TV-shows, like TOS, on though.

I have a 22" TV, which has ended up being used purely as a second monitor for my PC.

I sort of tune out black bars even when I was watching WS movies on my old CRT 4:3 TV. But 16:9 TV's have been the norm for what 15-20 years at least in the UK.

Samsung 42" LED Smart HDTV Living Room
Samsung 20" Stereo CRT Bedroom.

Sadly, I think the CRT may be replaced this year as the remote is dying.

It depends upon which room. My bedroom has a 40" Toshiba LCD. My stepmother's room has a 40" AKAI... possibly plasma, not sure. The other rooms have 32" Element flat screen TVs.

I am considering a 55" or so for my bedroom, at which time I'll put my bedroom TV in the living room. It will be either a Vizio or Samsung.

Samsung UE32EH5000 32-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p LED TV with built in Freeview HD [Energy Class A]

Got it from Amazon in early 2013 for £254 and I love it (PC mode on it for gaming is great ;)) I would like to get the bigger 40 Inch version this year or in 2016.
