What TrekLit Idea/Story Would You Love to See Adapted Onscreen?

I would love to see Mackenzie Calhoun make a canonical appearance. I would also love for The Ashes of Eden, The Return, and Avenger to be referenced enough that a broad-strokes version of their events are made canon. Federation would make a cool animated movie. It would be so awesome if the Avatar duology, Rising Son, and Unity from the DS9 relaunch were adapted too.
Calhoun, I think he’s the only book character to get his own action figure toy! Or have there been other action figures based on characters from the books?

Great thread question. There's so many I would love to see canonized in live action. Here are a few that come right to mind:
-Dianne Duane's Romulans; there's still a chance for ST: Picard to incorporate the culture into that series
-Andorian culture/sexuality
-The use of the terms "HemQuch" and "QuchHa'" for the Klingons
-Establishing Saavik as half-Romulan
-Aspects of Star Trek: Stargazer (could make for more interesting backstory on ST: Picard)
-Aspects of Star Trek: Titan
-Early Voyages comic book series
-ST: New Frontier series; other Peter David books as well like "Imzadi", "Vendetta", and "Q-Squared" (perhaps some of this could be worked into Lower Decks or Picard).
-Typhon Pact
-David Mack's ideas for the Breen
-Lit. take on Captain Harriman

I firmly believe "The Wounded Sky" is the best Star Trek story ever told in any medium, but it works better as a novel in my opinion. "My Enemy, My Ally", on the other hand, would make a great movie.

The Never-Ending Sacrifice, or any of Robinson and McCormack's literary characterisation of Garak and Cardassia? Nan Bacco? David Mack's Data resurrection? Vanguard? The caves on Trill in the Trill novella and the mirror universe novel? Mack's mirror universe works? KRAD's klingons? Kirsten's Voyager novels?

There was almost a Ferengi Borg, but it was cancelled. I was planning to name him Vastator of Borg, from "Vendetta".

Maybe the "Starfleet Academy" Picard, Riker, LaForge and Worf (later topped up with Troi, Howard-Crusher and Data) would count? Illustrations/covers in the "Starfleet Academy" YA books. Certainly some of the costumes have turned up recently in the comics. Only Picard was even seen in canonical Academy mode.

The Wounded Sky. No question.

And I'd score the climactic sequence of K't'lk creating a universe with the "Disappearance of the Palace and of Kashchei's spells/Animation of the Petrified Warriors/General Thanksgiving" scene from Stravinski's Firebird (which is what I always hear in my head while reading that scene, and what I'm listening to as I type this.
Agreed, that is one of my favorites!
