I voted Chinese because it's awesome.

Ironically, I just had Chinese for lunch (pork with green beans) and then we bought a take 'n bake pizza to have for dinner tonight.

Ewww. No! I'm not sure exactly how to describe it. It's good, though! There's a very incomplete article on wikipedia, but it's kind of bare. Here's a fair article.

So I placed the order. Chinese food. I got:

1) Cantonese Chow Mein (Noodles, veggies, shrimp, chicken and pork in one yummy dish)
2) Sweet & Sour Chicken Balls
3) Chicken in lemon sauce

Delivery will be ready in 25 minutes (6 pm). I will try topost pictures :D

Here it is! (And it was delicious)
Clockwise from top: Chicken with lemon sauce, cantonese chow mein, sweet and sour chicken balls.
And I have enough left over for a second dinner later on if I want. :D

Well I have my pizza.
Let us know how it goes!

It was lovely. I feel really relaxed now :)

I think I've said before that I don't eat animal products, (eg, cheese), so I always make my own pizzas. Tonight's topping was (in order of construction): tomato paste, garlic powder, red onion, tomatoes, fresh oregano, green olives, yellow peppers, chilli powder, salt, black pepper, balsamic vinegar, a little turmeric, and olive oil.

Sounds yummy. :)

I ate three animals to make up for your zero: Chickens, pigs and shrimps.

LMAO!!! That was awesome! I'm envious. I think I may have to find a way to do Chinese myself tonight. ;)

Well, you may have already decided, but I'd definitely go with the Chinese. Pizza, is good, and makes an excellent second, third, or even fourth meal from left overs, but Chinese, especially if it is good Chinese, is a nice treat. I always prefer Chinese over Pizza, but it';s a bit more economical to get pizza. I mean, for a family of five...a $22 sheet pizza will easily feed everyone, as opposed to 6-7 bucks per person with Chinese take out. :(

^ It's much closer for one person, though. I can get a main dish and a side of fried rice for about $16 at my local place, which is usually good for two meals for me. A medium pizza, also good for about two meals, costs between $15-20, depending on the toppings, so I often find Chinese is cheaper overall. A little more varied, too.

^I see your point. I think it's a matter of how many you need to feed. I can get a medium pizza for around $6-7 USD, and a Chinese meal for around the same. Both god for about the same servings. But, as you increase the number of people eating the food, the price grows exponentially with the chinese food, and only a little for the Pizza. It's only about 3-4 dollars more to upgrade to a Large pizza, for around $10-12, which can easily feed 3-4 people, while each chinese meal can feed on person, 2 maybe, at $7 a piece. So, for 4 people, that's $12 vs $28 (all estimated, of course). You could realistically feed 6-10 people with a sheet pizza for $22, but to feed that many with a Chinese dinner, that's still $7 per person.

I guess if you're living by yourself, it really doesn't matter, because most 1 -2 serving meals will cost around the same, but it's MUCH more economical to get pizza when dealing with larger groups or families. Which, sadly, is why Chinese is a rarity for me...

Now there's an argument against having children if I ever heard one. ;)

The price for the chinese food actually grows linearly. Four people cost twice as much as two. :)
