Seriously, one of the reasons I chime in is there is such a double-standard when it comes to weight in America. Women are attacked much more viciously for being overweight than men are.
I do know what it's like being the victim of fat prejudice, because I was pretty fat as a youngster in grade school, where kids can be cruel. I learned to defend myself precisely because of that. I eventually lost the weight and for most of my adult life, I've been close to the weight for my height, 5'8", between 160-180 lbs.
Also, it's true we have an obesity epidemic, but people all don't correspond to the conservative weight tables. As someone above pointed out, some heavy people are healthier than some thin people.

Rewatch the first season of Voyager. He was pretty grey from the start, and then he started dying his hair black. The long hair isn't doing him any favors, though.We all get older, Khan.

Sounds a bit like me....fit in spite of fat. I'm 240lbs at 6 foot...should be 210 or so as I lift heavy things thrice weekly. But it would be optimal to be leaner.

Keep in mind the beauty of airbrushing and make-up artists. I was looking at the other pics associated with the original post link and none of those guys look really all that great. Even Roxanne Dawson looked a little off. This pic is much more flattering I think.
Yes, I stumbled on them while googling updated photos of Kes. Whoever this fangal is, she has quite the collection going on. I was laughing at the one with Michelle Forbes next to her...she towers over her!
EDA: I especially liked the ones with Leonard Nimoy and Michael Hogan. They were sweet.
