What stories would you have liked to have seen on Voyager?

I think all J/Cers would've liked another J/C episode. I know that some one wrote a couple books based on after Endgame i think it was Christie Golden or something like that. To me the books are just published fanfic. So i would've liked to have seen post endgame stuff. Like how people reacted to Seven and Icheb, if Janeway finaly loosened up, or just a general outcome of how the crew managed after thier return home. Because you know most of them had PTSD by then.

I read a fanfic where some of the senior offiicers had a transporter accident and came back as children. The ship was taken over and the "children" took back the ship. It was an amusing idea.

I would have liked to see just one scene, somewhere in the final episodes of the series - maybe part of a teaser. The crew celebrates crossing the Delta/Beta Quadrant Border. Just something to acknowledge that they are now in the Beta Quadrant.

- Year of Hell as it was originally conceived.

- some real conflict and problems between the Maquis and the Starfleet early on; Janeway and Chakotay at odds and very slowly and gradually starting to trust each other and get closer over a couple of seasons, kinda like Adama/Roslin on BSG

- how the ex-Equinox crew were adjusting, coping with their past, and how they got along with the VOY crew

- the ship coming home as a result of a long effort we follow through at least half of the season, probably related to the Pathfinder project - rather than as a result of a sudden messing with the past by a time-traveler from the future

- at least an episode dealing with the homecoming and showing the crew back home

Like a flashback story, so we can get a better idea of his pain by seeing what he had before and what he lost. I think it would've helped his character be more identifable and maybe less disliked.

This would have been entirely possible due to "Pathways," too. They had the whole story for Neelix sitting in their lap. I enjoyed "Jetrel" for the insight into his character.

This would have been entirely possible due to "Pathways," too. They had the whole story for Neelix sitting in their lap. I enjoyed "Jetrel" for the insight into his character.

I think allot of folks might not like Neelix because they not sure why to feel sorry for him. I think they were a little too subtle in addressing his story.

I thought they should've gone into the parallels between Neelix and Chakotay--both lost their families and home planets in war--and the choices they maded afterwards.

Or how about Chakotay and Seven--both sacrificed their ships to save Voyager and they had been linked.

Or Belanna and Naomi--both half-breeds. Though I did like the Seven/Naomi interaction, since Voyager was really the only home either of them knew.

Or Belanna and Neelix--used occasionally. While Neelix uses his pain for positive, Belanna needs to learn to deal with hers. There was a little Belanna/Tuvok stuff about that, but more would've been nice.

Frankly, Neelix was really badly used. He had a lot of pain (shown really well in "Jetrel"), but tried to be positive. He could reel in the annoyingness, so interaction with him (as shown with banana pancakes and such) should've been played up more. I hated that he was made a laughingstock. The actor didn't deserve it either.

3. An episode that visits an incident that occured in Neelix's childhood, which somehow has some revelance, at least to Neelix, to Voyager's crew making a trade agreement with an questionable race.

4. Voyager encounters a wormhole that leads deep inside the Dominon Space. Janeway enlists help with the new allies from the area, to attack the Dominon Headquarters on the Vorta Homeworld in exchange for technology and information. The allies only agree after Janeway gave them a way to mine the wormhole terminus to prevent any Jem'Hadar from attacking back.

Totally love the first three. Especially if the first (long-lost aliens with technology Voyager needs) could've had clues throughout the seasons (a la B5's Shadows being mentioned in season 1). Minor pieces of information that weren't really noticed, until they realize around season 4 or 5 that the pieces fit together. What had seemed independent were actually references to the same race interpreted by different races Voyager met. No one ever put it together before because no one had met up enough of the races having different pieces. Then Voyager could actively seek puzzle pieces while continuing on their way, usually as the B-storyline of an episode.

This could've incorporated the Borg if they wanted to, or could've provided Voyager an independent way home. Voyager could've solved their problem themselves, coming home on their own. And the multi-year story arc would've been in little bits--sometimes so minor as to be "oh yeah, that"--until it built to the main story arc in the 2d half of the last season and the finale.

That would've allowed an over-arching continuity while not imposing on stand-alones. One-line references to the puzzle would've been sufficient. And it would've given direction as to why Voyager explored this was or that, minor detours to check out a puzzle piece.

Bitch would've been to find out it was some time loop and was Voyager (eh, time travel sucks if done badly) or some earlier Federation ship (earlier version of uniforms so not too "ah it's them again")

The fourth? Now they'd be stuck in Dominion Space as known enemies. Worse than the DQ and stepping all over DS9-fan territory.

Yeah, I wasn't really serious with the number four. It would have been pretty insane for Janeway to pull it off, especially since there would be nothing to offer the allies to help them make enemies with an unfamiliar power.

Let me give some more

1. Voyager encounters a starship from the distant future, with a Malcorian Captain. Meanwhile, the female Vulcan from the Maquis crew goes through Tor'Farr (the female version) and chases after Harry Kim.

2. The families of Voyager's senior staff gets together in San Francisco. Tom Paris' uncle falls for Seven's aunt. Captain Janeway's sister falls for Chakotay's sister. B'Elanna's parents had a bit too much blood wine and spent the night together at the hotel on the Presido. Meanwhile, Voyager passes though a dull region of space controlled by a mind-numbing boring race makes Vulcans look like they have a wild sense of humor.

3. One morning, Harry Kim wakes up in Janeway's bed. And she is nowhere to be found.

Janeway is transported back to Voyager but ends up in a closet. She comes out of the closet to find B'Elanna waiting for her, dressed in black leather and holding a riding crop.... Later an alien escort is killing off Starfleet personnel in San Francisco leaving their nude bodies behind but taking their stylish clothes; the alien is dubbed "Jack the Stripper." Janeway and her new number 1, B'Elanna, beam down Chakotay and Paris, wearing tight low-v-neck Ts and skinny jeans, to investigate. Meanwhile, Seven and Harry explore the Kama Sutra together, on every deck, and in every nook and cranny. Harry is never seen again without a goofy smile on his face.
