Well, Human, I guess. Most of the other races I can think of had either un-fun or downright tragic histories. I know, so does Humanity, but by Trek's time, we're basically past that.

If I'm going to fantasize, I'd be starfleet, with a career that leads to captain of a starship, but not too hazardous of a duty. I like to know I'll die of extreme old age.
