What song did Vic Fontaine sing the best?

IMHO, it was "Come Fly With Me" He did "The Way You Look Tonight" was good, but the former was his best effort on DS9

I agree. I don't like "Come Fly with Me", but he did a great job.

"The Way You Look Tonight" is one of my favorite songs. His version is just ok.

He sang "Come fly with me" very good indeed. His duet with Sisko in Badda-bing, Badda-bang was very good too.

I think he sang all of them amazingly. Whenever I hear the Sinatra versions on the radio or TV it gets my goat because I find them all to be much inferior to the Vic Fontaine versions that I am accustomed to. I wish the radio and TV commercials would use those versions instead (yes, I know, vastly unrealistic and could never happen for various reasons...but I still desire them instead of the Sinatra versions, darn it :techman:)

My favorite song Vic sings is "It's Only A Paper Moon".

The Best is Yet to Come is great. I wish The Alamo had made it onto his album even if it was a song written just for the show.

I don't know if it counts either but "The Best is Yet to Come" gets my vote too.

I'll go with Come fly with me, too - but much of that is thinking of if Jim's voice singing it over the image of station is a question that i don't choose to answer,

Whoa, so many good songs to choose from! But I'd say I like It's Only A Paper Moon (in combination with the episode it feels so bittersweet) and I'll Be Seeing You (so much emotion in this one) as performed by James Darren the best. Here's To The Losers is also a nice little tune.

Man, I love Vic!

The Way You Look Tonight gets me everytime. Perfect song for that occasion. Of course Vic singing Here's to the Losers to Quark and Bashir was perfect too.

I don't know about his best, but the worst was I'll Be Seeing You all jazzed up. That should be slow and wistful.

All of them :)

Push me I'd probably say Come Fly With Me but I really did love all of them.

Come Fly With Me. Most of what he did was pretty good. It got me to go out and buy some early 60s nightclub jazz, so I guess that represents a fairly positive impact.
