What Size Bed…

Your Bed Size

Queen sized with a normal mattress. My bed has both a head and foot boards. Given I'm tall footboards are my natural enemy. Thankfully it has widely placed slats so that at least my foot can slip through, though I do sometimes wake up with sore feet/toes that I suspect is from he kicking the slats in my sleep.

No. It's just a carpeted concrete floor. There's a couch and loveseat, but they're not comfortable because I can't extend my legs.

I have a single bed/cot. Had to get rid of the couch, as it broke down too badly for me to sleep on.

Our bed is twin-sized, although by American standards its more like a decently sized single bed.

I have a queen-sized bed with a memory foam mattress. It's nice. If at all possible, I will never use an inner spring mattress again.

We have a queen sized bed. The mattress is a pillow top with some memory foam just under that, but the base support is individual coils. Pretty comfortable. Next mattress will probably be the newest memory foam offering. Our son has one and he and his wife rave about it. Wife & I often talk about jumping up to King Size, but our room geometry won't accommodate something larger.

PS. Flannel sheets are the most awesome thing ever in the cooler months....

I totally agree, we just changed over to flannel sheets on Sunday. In fact we put the "winter" comforter on as well.

Tom, I merged your thread with the "Where do you sleep?" thread. I kept your title to go with the poll (since yours is more active) and edited a copy of your OP into the first post.

Double bed with a Sleep Number mattress -- just right for one human and two felines. :) I tried flannel sheets years ago but didn't like them, so I use regular sheets year round. Depending on the season, I add either a down comforter in a pretty duvet or a quilt. In the summer, the top sheet is usually enough by itself.

I inherited my full-size bed from my parents. It's 50+ years old and in good condition. I have a regular box spring and top mattress. I have a mattress topper on top.

Didn't we already do this?

Nah, someone just asked where you sleep, not what type of mattress.

As for the OP, while I would love to have a Sleep Number bed, I just could not afford it when I bought my current mattress. So, I have individually pocketed coil springs in mine. She's Queen sized too as I don't fit on anything shorter.
Oh... old age is so confusing. :alienblush:

I can't even remember if I answered this one: I have an iComfort Queen mattress paired with my new bedroom suite. I love the square poster beds. This is burnished wood with wrought-iron features. I sacrificed while raising children and taking care of Mom for 24 years, so this is only my 2nd new bedroom suite ever.

A queen size one of these:

Head and side-board. All soft and warm in the winter. No more stubbed little toes by walking into the bed at night.

I love it!
