I saw this mug in an advertisement on Facebook. I thought at first it was the Probert version of the Enterprise C, but I looked an, no, that isn't it.
 
Could it be concept art for the NuTrek movies? It's got a similar bulbous nacelle thing going on.

I wondered if there might be licensing issues, but they are using the Star Trek names, and other terms unique to the franchise.
 
It's just a photoshop. Look at the text to the right and how it fails to follow the curve of the mug.
Well I suspect that might be because the advertiser hasn't actually produced any of these yet, so this was just thrown together quickly. T-shirt websites do this sort of thing a lot too.

Either that or the artist is a genius at perspective, curving the text in such a manner that it appears straight from a certain vantage point captured by the photograph. Let's give them their due.

Which due? Either 1) they're a genius at perspective who applied that talent to curve text on a mug to make the item in an advertisement look fake, or 2) not. One alternative of the two is way more likely, and it's not #1.
