You know, it would actually be a wonderful nod to Trek's origins if Abrams did that.

Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I don't usually like the mixing of horror with Sci fi, ( Alien excepted), but this is very much Sci fi in nature. Vaguely similiar to This side of Paradise, with plants & rather drastic behaviour changes found in both stories.

Somewhat similiar to The Borg snatchers is with everyone behaving in some strange zombied out in unison behavior. Paradise more a hippie hedonism trip.

Nuts. I'd have paid money to have had this picture for April Fool's Day. My "fake" article would have been much better.
