What other specific character focused show would you want other than "Star Trek: Picard"?

Hey, can Kurtzman and my open-mindedness will be overflowing. Until then, garbage in, garbage out.
Well I certainly won't argue for firing him--he's had a hand in my two favourite Trek movies (directed by Abrams) and my second favourite Trek series after TOS (and no, I'm not a "newbie", lest you be inclined to ride to the rescue of "the older fans"--I've been watching Trek since 1973 and have seen every episode of every series more than once).

It was pretty apparent around the time of the ST09 release that Orci and Kurtzman were the driving force behind the Trek renaissance. I'm plus minus on JJ, but those two got directly involved in the comic tie in story narratives (many of which were excellent) and clearly had passion and a vision for Star Trek. Nobody's perfect, but I'm grateful Kurtzman has played such an instrumental role in making Trek a modern, vital property.

Star Trek: Captain Worf

About time they finally made it!

Only if Worf is allowed to look like a Klingon.

As for me many of been mentioned already but I would like a

1 Captain Nog show.

2 Kelvinverse spin-off from either Uhura,Sulu,McCoy or Scotty.

3 Mudd just as long as they resist the urge to make him a nice guy.

"Star Trek: Data" - he teaches Vulcans on what it is like to be superior and perfect, while getting the Borg all confused as to whether or not he's obsolete in the new order or if he can be made partly organic so he can get orgasmic with the Queen because the Borg are always so clueless.

"Star Trek: Geordi" - an antihero, Geordi goes from starship to starship to repair them then creepily hits on all the women. Like Captain Jack except he's probably hetero, but generally less successful. But who wants to watch a soap opera?

Wasn’t there a graphic novel or comic series about McCoy being a doctor on some remote outpost set between TOS and TMP.

Cast Karl Urban, set it in the prime universe and go.

Assignment: Earth, of course, although you'd have to recast Seven and Lincoln.
Count me as one who would also love to see this, but it would have to be done exceptionally well. If the people making it weren't careful, it could too easily become a lame Doctor Who clone.

Star trek: space amoeba. It would be a cross between 'cosmos' and 'the blob'. The amoeba would teach us about the galaxy whilst eating it and the amoeba would be voiced by Neil de grasse Tyson.

Star Trek: Saavik. Recast with someone closer to the feisty Kirstie Alley version, as opposed to the more subdued replacement, and set during the movie time frame. The Saavik of Star Trek II was one of the most interesting characters Star Trek produced and they dropped the ball almost instantly.

Star Trek: Ro Laren. Michelle Forbes could still do this, set concurrently with the Picard series. They didn't make the most of her as a semiregular on TNG, but "Preemptive Strike" was the best episode of the show's last season. Yes, I'll take it over "All Good Things."
