What no Arkham City Thread?

Yes I am at about 73% too, working on the super plus story line now, I haven't done the challenge maps..mainly because they tend to bore me a bit, even in Arkham Asylum I never cared for the challenge maps. But I have all the trophies and did all the Riddler puzzles. I'd like to have Robin and Nightwing, but just using them for the challenge maps seems like a waste to me - would rather be able to play as them in the main game.

I was disappointed that there wasn't anything special at getting all 440. Though I'm not an achievement whore and rarely do "collect all x" things in games so they did something right to keep me playing through. Tying in the collecting with Riddler missions was pretty smart though. His final thing was pretty demented. I mainly know Batman through everything but the main comic line, is he normally so murderous? That was new for me.

Anyone know if the Batman skins pack will be usable in the main game? I want to try Batman Beyond and Frank Miller Batman.

I've been playing this since the day it came out and I love it, definitely one of my favorite games I've ever played. I finished the story and so I'm now working on finishing up the side missions. Do you need to do anything specific to move beyond the first mission in the Identity Thief storyline?
I still can't get over the ending of the main storyline, I think that was the best video game ending I've ever seen.

So I updated my game today with the new patch. It deleted all my save data. I won't be playing this for a while.

Are you sure it deleted them? I ask because had a similar problem with Arkham Asylum but all it turned out to be was GFWL playing silly buggers.

I didn't read the story, but there was a headline on IGN about the disappearing B:AC XBox save files. So apparently this has been a fairly widespread problem.

the robin dlc is now available, at least on the playstation network. sadly you can only play him on the challenge maps.

batman skins are now available on the playstation network (not sure on other consoles) it's about 5 dollars.

the skins are really nice! but doesn't change game play if you're wondering.

I haven't played Arkham City, but I did watch someone else complete it. And it was awesome. But those Riddler challenges took a damn long time...good job I was on hand with IGN's guide and YouTube for the tricksier ones...

Just ordered the game today after play.com dropped the price for 24 hours to £17.99 :techman:

The challenges are actually very well thought out, you will pick up a lot as you progress through the game, then as you open up more upgrades you get access to one's that you thought impossible.......Loved them.........Apart from the last two catwoman challenges, they are physical one's rather than find a trophy, and I hate, with a passion, burning deep inside my very soul, combo fighting type games, so those last two are impossible for me to get, becasue i don't have 10 fingers on each hand or the reflex's of speedy Gonzales on speed.

But apart from that the trophy in this game are fantastic and really well thought out...Apart from catwomans last two. :wah::lol:

Just finished the story and have started to go through and collect trophies and do the side missions. Enjoying the Riddler's Revenge challenges a lot and that's probably the main thing keeping me going so I can unlock them all and give them a go.
