What next for the Heroes universe

If it doesn't include the actors, I don't give a flying frakity frak. I'm more interested in what new shows Adrian Pasdar, Zachary Quinto and even Milo Ventimiglia are doing next.

^This. The show self-destructed quite awhile ago, so I don't give a flying you-know-what about that universe any more.

I *will* be interested to see what the actors will be up to, however.

I hope they get some new show or other! The list of "actors I want to see again but have unaccountably vanished" is getting depressingly long. And we have all those great Lost actors to get shows for, too!

Well, I read Saving Charlie, the Heroes media tie-in (bought the hardcover at a friend's garage sale for $0.50)...so, whatever the future brings, I hope it doesn't include books. That story was just awful.

how about a show on theatre or spinoffs something that would satisfy loyal fans.

Theater - you mean like Broadway? That doesn't seem remotely likely. And NBC has bailed on the whole Heroes concept, so they aren't going to waste energy building a failed franchise with spinoffs.

What's next? A spin-off show in the mold of "Dexter"... called "Sylar". ;)

Where they left Sylar in his "development," his next step would be to try to live with his compulsion towards braaaains in a Dexter-like manner. Volunteer to help the government hunt down bad mutants in exchange for braaaains, a more-legit version of his deal with Danko.

Ok so not theatre how about a theme park or exhibition interactive maybe oh I don't think these are likely ideas or suitable.

The problem with all those ideas are: if there's no money in it, nobody's going to bother doing it. The tanking ratings proved there isn't enough money in the show for anyone to do anything that isn't cheap, like comic books.

That's true ah well it had a first season which is amazing I watched a tribute of it on Youtube wow it was excellent. on topic I hope a another tv show will pick Zachary Quinto up who is amazing.

Ya know, I'm thinkin' that the third season of Star Trek tanked in ratings back in the day when there were only three channel options.

Who knows? Fifteen, twenty years from now, we could get Heroes: The Next Generation!

If anything, I could see some comics, but honestly I'd be surprised if that happened.

I wouldn't be. In fact given its origins if there's any show on TV right now (or leaving TV) that is best suited for continuation in the comics, it would be Heroes. I think within a year IDW or Dynamite or even DC will have a Heroes title under way.

I also agree that, given its premise and multi-storyline nature, if time turns Heroes into a cult show like it did other failed series like Star Trek TOS and Battlestar Galactica, there's plenty of flexibility for revival, sequel, reimagining, down the line. The cast is still young, so there's nothing saying they couldn't come up with a cool storyline involving a 40-something Clare Bennet, for example.

Or it get rebooted.

I rather see what some of actors do next. Mainly Zachary, Adrian and Greg. I'm expecting Greg to appear in J.J.'s new show or in Fringe sometime.
