I think we just have a musical difference of opinion here...
I really like the TMP music... :)

Star Trek I : Motion Pcture and Star Trek V : Final Frontier.

I am actually trying to forget existence of Final Frontier

As much as I dislike Nemesis, I'd never wish Alzheimer's on anyone. But I will wish you luck in repressing your memory of those two hours. ;)

This would have made a great poll.

Anyway, after I got all the TOS seasons on DVD, I finally tracked down the last two TOS films on DVD (got 'em cheap, too).

This, to me, is Star Trek, along with DS9. Thus, I will never watch Generations, First Contact, Insurrection, or Nemesis again. I might watch parts of these flicks if they're on TV or something, but I don't own them and never plan to buy them.

I am currently watching TOS in the original viewing order and plan to finish my TOS marathon with TUC. That to me is the end of Trek unti DS9.

As for Kirk's death, that's not in my personal canon, nor is Enterprise.

TOS Films - I'll watch all forever, but I'll fast forward/scene skip through huge chunks of TMP - too slow moving. I know this will incite flames - sorry, I just don't think it's all that good - could have lost a good 30 minutes and been much tighter.

TNG films - well, I have all of these, too and don't really care if I ever see them again. Honesty. The only one that is semi-watchable to me is Insurrection and I know that will get me killed.

What I don't like about First Contact is that Picard clearly learned he wasn't omnipotent and superior - it made him a better captain and human being. Yet in FC he's reset to Captain Ahab, a Khan that is just this side of insanity. Huh? So he can play action hero?

^Originally, it was supposed to be Riker doing that... But I don't think that would've made any sense...
Considering what the Borg did to Captain Picard, it makes sense that he might eventually go a little psycho...

Probably Nemesis. In fact, both times I have tried to watch the DVD I have fallen asleep. I'm not sure I'm even capable of watching it again.
As bad as TFF was, it did have some enjoyable moments.

With Nemesis..I've never seen it completely, I fell asleep in the theater, I fall asleep watching the DVD ( a gift)..damn thing is better than Sleep-Ez at putting me under...

I watched Nemesis once in theaters in December 2002. I fell asleep watching it on DVD in 2004, and I again fell asleep watching it again on DVD in 2006. There are plenty of interesting movies to watch in my DVD collection, but this certainly is not one of them.

This is without a doubt the worst movie in my DVD collection, because if it didn't have "Star Trek" in its title, it would certainly have gotten the boot a long time ago.

I think if Nemesis had some of the deleted scenes in it originally it would have been a loved movie by more fans. I like the movie.

The only ST movie I'll probably never watch again is the Final Frontier. I would rather watch an Academy film than one on the Search for God.

Indeed, I think people have been saying for years there's little wrong with Nemesis that couldn't have been fixed by having more scenes deleted.

You're the first person I've ever heard say that.

Never say never but I think it will at least take YEARS before I consider watching I, II, III, IV.

I will only watch V + X if they get a new edition -> I will be excited if the try to make them good.

VI-VIII are really entertaining and I like also IX enough to watch and rarely.

I have to agree. Nemesis could have been greatly improved if every one of its scenes had been deleted. And the posters, trailers, and other promotional materials. And the name had been changed to " ".

#1 was dull
#2 was fatally flawed
#3 was dull
#4 was cute
#5 was self-indulgent crap
#6 was really stupid
#7 was insultingly bad
#8 was surprisingly good
#9 was (reserves judgment since he hasn't seen it)

So of all of these, I might see #4 or #8 again.
