What kind of of human society would exist if we had evolved Black Widow traits?

Have you ever looked at animals or insects and wonder what what the human race would be like if we evolved for the most part like we currently are with all the organs mostly the same with most of the same emotions but slightly different and we instead also had some traits you see in other animals also become part of what it means to be human?

How do you think a human society would evolve when the females eat their mates after reproducing? Also I watched a video were it seems the male black widows in same cases actually are willing to sacrifice themselves though I also noticed that this trait isn't common in all black widow spiders?

I assume that males would make a way smaller segment of the human race. Therefore human society would have started off with woman having more control over all the countries that would exist from the beginning. What I really find interesting though is the psychology that would form. I think the entire population of the planet would be way less than 6 billion because you would have woman who would give birth to males knowing what their fate would be destined to be and I got to think that would be something hard to live with. I guess males would almost have a "Logans Run" aproach to life. They know life is going to be short so it would be one constant party until the end.

Also what would happen when science came along and found ways for humans to survive without having to give into their primitve instincts? Do you think people would rush to accept it or do you think religions would fight against it as being unnatural? I'm not sure if Black WIdow spiders eat fruit or vegetables so i'm not even sure if that would be a option. To me this is a kind of fun sci-fi type of thing to ponder and I wonder what people, think would happen in this kind of world?

If humans operated this way, the race would quickly die out.

Even if there are spiders who would willingly let themselves be eaten by their mates (although this is questionable - spiders aren't sentient, so they don't really know what they're doing), there's no way humans would.

No human being would willingly enter into a mating when they know they will be killed and eaten in the process.

Do you think though this kind of instinct might change the way these humans think about death? If humans have a God gene I think it has been called that sort of creates the concept of a God or afterlife to deal with our fear of death could you then instead of humans who don't fear death they way we do? Also I wonder if the death with the spiders is painless assuming spiders can even fear pain. Of course the video I saw talked alot about pheromones and i'm not exactly sure what those are in great detail.

Humans always fear death but people still do risky things that they know is putting their life on the line. I wonder also if maybe sex in this society would be even more powerful on the level of how we need to eat food or drink water. Of course as a Trek fan my mind sort of goes towards a human version of the Pon Farr.

Notwithstanding the advantages of not having a male taking up space in the house that woman needs for other purposes, eating males after copulation is not really a viable solution. Apart from hygienic problems, devising man-friendly ways of slaughtering, required storage capacities (a big problem for prostitutes, I imagine), recipes, disposal of the non edible parts etc., we'd also have to find a way to dramatically rise the birthrate of males. Otherwise the demand would soon surpass the supply.
Spiders (and quite a number of other invertebrates) solve this prob by storing sperm. One copulation is sufficient for the female to fertilize herself for the rest of her life. Unfortunately, mammal sperm is very short-lived: 3 days is the maximum unless you deep-freeze it.
Of course, we could solve this problem nowadays. But mankind would have died out long before the invention of the freezer.

In my experience, nature always tries everything out and ceases the production of models that don't work perfectly. If there was a better alternative, the current model of human wouldn't exist. However, nature keeps experimenting and there might be a more promising development in the future.

Personally, I favour the propagation method of centipedes: the male puts his sperm in a flask-like receptacle. Then he spins a web that looks almost exactly like railroad tracks. The distance between crossties gets smaller the closer they are to the receptacle. The female that comes across such a track decides whether she's in the mood for propagation and if she is, she follows the track (the crossties showing her which is the right direction), inserts the sperm receptacle and walks off, pregnant. Highly efficient, stress free, totally non-lethal and absolutely voluntarily. Perfect sex ;)
(The disadvantage of being a biologist is that you can't use the railway without having certain thoughts ;) :D )

Well, if the dude tastes like chicken and tastes good, then there's not going to be anything for seconds. Especially if the act of copulation was any good. Remember the mantra of Peggy Bundy, "the one thing men are good for they're not good at."

What you suggest would only work if humankind didn't become sentient. Humans do lots of insane things for the sake of sex, but they don't choose death unless-- oh, wait, historically they have. Like the lyrics go,

"If you think the chemistry that makes you stupid
Is the same as the stuff that makes you smart
All I can say to you, my friend
Is that you're off to a bangin' start! ♫"

I also imagine fictional groups like "No Ma'am", real groups like MGTOW, etc, would have started long before "The Great Sausage Feast™ " could take place, noting the oft-repeated aphorism "men are pigs" in numerous societal sectors...
