What is your LEAST favorite ship?

Gorn Captain

Commander
Red Shirt
What is the crappiest ship from the pre 2009 movies?

The BOP was kind a piece of junk but at least looked cool from the outside. The Scimitar was dumb looking, but at least had size to be intimidating. I like Enterprise, obviously, and Excelsior, and Reliant.

I have to say the Grissom is the worst. Honestly, there's nothing that wrong with it, but its captain was such an incredible wuss that its guilty by association.

The "Holoship" from INS; when it decloaks in orbit around the Ba'Ku homeworld it's revealed in all its lame CG glory!

The Enterprise-D. I never liked it's outside shape too much and it looked like a cheap, nasty 70's hotel on the inside during the series and a cheap, nasty 70's hotel with the lights off in Generations.

The Oberth-class Grissom. Too small. Useless captains with no balls or leadership capacity. And a design that often makes little sense unless you take WAAAAY too much time to think and rationalize it out...and even then it seems a little weird or silly.

The Oberth-class Grissom was certainly something a bit different for a Starfleet ship, but I never really understood the design or its purpose.

The holoship from INS is certainly pretty uninspired... a giant box.

Oberth is a pure science vessel. It is not going to have the same caliber Captain as a Cruiser or Flagship. I liked the design of the model, but wish we could have seen more of its interior.

I don't care for the Nebula class or the Klingon battle cruisers introduced during DS9 and the Romulan Warbirds from TNG. Oh, and Cardassian cruisers were plain ugly.

I dont like Mirranda class as they break the guild-lines how starfleet ship are build. Where is the deflector disc. Star-fleet ship requires deflactor disc to go to warp right or am i wrong.. I dont get why Enterprise Refit need so large deflactor disc and at the same time Miranda ship dosent need it at all.

Reliant uses the same deflector technology that the Daedalus-class and Picard's Stargazer do .

well if that is the case why dosent Enterprise A,B,C,D and E use that bloody technology also:p.

Yes! More deflactor dishes! Bigger deflactor dishes! All over the ship!!

Deflactor!

Deflactor!

I just like saying deflactor!!!

WTF is a deflactor?

i second. what IS a deflector? and where is it at? i personally liked the Miranda, because it made sense. it was a border dog ship, that didn't pack muscle because you can't have your flagships on the borders chasing Klingons.

That said, i was very unimpressed with the DS9 Breen ships. for as high tech as the Breen seemed to be, their ships were just big, black, bulky, unimaginative crap.

I have to agree, I never cared for the design of the D and I was very happy to watch it crash.

The Oberth class.

I never dug its design, looked too silly and well I kept wondering how the crew got from the saucer section to the main section when I was younger.

I had been looking forward to seeing another type of ship after TWOK's Reliant and was excited when I heard through the Starlog grapevine that there was a U.S.S. Grissom, named for good ole Gus....

Wow what a dissapointment.
