What is YOUR flying car?

Please people, no holodeck? Oh well.

Going teleporter then as well. Because I love going places, but with my height and economy I really dislike flying.

Is this chip and pin thing anything like Pay Pass?

Well with a Chip and PIN card, is very similar to using a cash machine. When you go upto pay for something at a till instead of handing your card to cashier for them to swipe. You insert it into a terminal and enter your PIN number just as you would as a cash machine. Which means the card never leaves your possesion.

Isn't Pay Pass basically contactless technology. If so contactless transactions in the UK can be capped at something £20 i believe.

Hmm..at least 50% of places I go you swipe your own card and enter your PIN or signature. This is just a different tech for doing that?

So that means 50% of the time your don't swipe your own card.

Swiping a card almost seems so last century. (even though the tech only came out in the noughties.)

Yeah... but that could be changed if all places had the machine that the customer operates. I had just never heard of chip and PIN before, and was trying to get a handle on how it's different.

Where's my ailuromorph assistant (read: cat-girl companion)?

She doesn't even have to be "genetically 'uplifted'" biological (and thus opening the Pandora's box of philosophical and legal issues).

I'll settle for a totally robotic gynoid as long her chassis looks akin to this...

Shoot, I won't even expect her to vacuum. I'll do it for her! ;)

Sincerely,

Bill

Psychic powers! I'm sure someone somewhere assured me that people would start developing psionic abilities in future times back when past times were present times, which would make those future times our present times. (What I just said makes perfect sense, I checked. Read it again if you don't believe me. Draw some diagrams if you think it'll help.)

Anyway, when the big Sciency Event happens and we all get mental powers, I hope I get clairvoyance. Telepathy would be terrifying and telekinesis would get boring pretty quickly, unless it means I can also vibrate matter to generate heat and set things on fire. Setting things on fire never gets old. So, clairvoyance or being able to set things on fire with my mind, as long as they don't call it "pyrokinesis" because it's a dumb word that doesn't make sense.

She has a nice chassis, I would most certainly agree.

That magic pill that restores damaged tissue, like the one McCoy gave the old woman in the hallway in ST:IV.

You could possibly have multiple running versions of yourself at the same time. I'd finally have a fair fight in Halo.

Oh my, no. I only want one instance: this one. That way, before brain death, that data could be immediately backed up for restoration. I want me around, not just my likeness.

But there's the rub: you've got the continuity problem to deal with.

Yeah, there is that. Hm. I'm going to have to find a workaround.
Oh man. Ambien does terrible things to my brain. I read 'workaround' as 'reacharound'...
