I'm gonna go ahead and just name the first 10 I can think of. If I tried to name all the films I love, I'd be here til Christmas...

And yet Kung-Fu Panda makes your list of all time favourite movies?

It's all opinion, what's wrong with that? A lot of people hear have movies on their lists I consider pretty lame. I forgot to include When Harry Met Sally on my list, and it deserves to be there in part for this line: "Everybody thinks they have good taste and a sense of humor, but they can't all be right, can they?"

And also for the lunch scene of course. I wouldn't have found my favorite restaurant of all time if it hadn't been for that film. I've even sat at that very table!

Of course not, a lot of my faves are animated. Lilo and Stitch and Spirited Away, for example.

Animated films like Watership Down, Animal Farm, Beauty and the Beast, and Toy Story are definitely not childish (in fact, young children might find the first two decidedly adult). They are also favourites of mine.

I like Jack Black, and I have a 700GB collection of cartoons, anime, and animated features that I put forward as evidence of my love of the animated world.

And, sure, it is all a matter of opinion, but that doesn't mean I can't be surprised when Kung-Fu Panda shows up as an "all time favourite". Opinion is a two-way street.

Funnily enough, I haven't seen many Jack Black movies - the only ones I have seen are High Fidelity and the King Kong remake - he had supporting roles in both.

It's one of those things that can go either way; I figured movies fall under miscellaneous.

As for cartoons, I love them. Little Mermaid and The Incredibles are both among my favorite films, though not necessarily in the Top Ten.

Kung-Fu Panda is funny, startrekrcks. I think it's one of Dreamworks' better animated films. Still not on par with Pixar, in my humble opinion, but maybe I'm a bit of a Pixar fangirl and therefore not 100% objective. I try, I try!



I'm afraid my list will read like that of a 10 year old, but here goes:

1) Star Wars original trilogy (A New Hope being my favorite)
2) The Lord of the Rings trilogy (esp. The Fellowship of the Ring)
3) The Little Mermaid (my favorite as a child!)
4) Finding Nemo
5) Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade
6) Batman Begins
7) Superman (Richard Donner)
8) The Princess Bride
9) The Phantom of the Opera (I partially forgave Schumacher for his Batman movies after I saw this lovely film, but not enitrely.)
10) Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (I always think of this movie as my first experience with fantasy. I remember being enthralled by it as a little girl...)
