I thought this would be a fun poll thread. I am adding all choices from all trek film media. I hope I haven't missed one. Pick your favorite uniform. I didn't pair any together because the poll would have gotten to long. There are 11 choices to choose from. Enjoy.

I voted for TOS 1-3. I like the fabric texture in seasons 1 and 2, but the fit/cut in season 3.

TOS seasons 1-3

They look the most comfortable and versatile. Plus it's only one shirt/pants (or skirt) so it's quicker to get dressed without the addition of undershirts.

Moving to General Trek Discussion.

For general uniforms, my favorite is the NX-1 Enterprise uniform, because it looks most military. That said, I do have a soft spot for the early TNG dress uniforms, literally dresses even for the men.

I like the Enterprise uniforms also, they seem to be the most practical, identifiable and utilitarian of the group. As far as style goes, the TWOK "Hornblower in Space" uniforms are my favorite, a style that lasted through the TOS movies and even made a few appearances in TNG and Voyager.

I picked the TOS uniforms. First because the ladies looked so nice in the mini skirts. ;) Secondly because they were three piece and simple. A pull over shirt, pants and cool boots. It took a couple minutes to get ready and not have to worry about attaching any pins or belts etc. I mean I hate to spend so much time getting ready for work and the TOS uniform fits the bill for simplicity and speed. I wish I could wear my convention one to work everyday. LOL

Technically there's quite a few missing. Off the top of my head-
-The Enterprise-C era uniforms (basically the TWOK ones without the collar.)
-The late 24th/early 25th century uniforms from TNG: All Good Things, DS9: The Visitor, and VOY: Endgame.
-The 29th Century uniforms from VOY: Relativity.

And the ones I might go for... the 2161 ENT uniforms from everyone's all-time favourite Star Trek episode :D

I was gonna say ENT anyway then I remembered these. I don't know, I just think they look cool with the extra Starfleet logo on the right arm, the epaulettes on the shoulders, and the names too. Although to be fair I'm not really sure what the point of those are, in case you forget Ensign Ricky's name and want to avoid embarrassment.

Oh, and the ENT away mission jackets were AWESOME.

First Contact/late DS9 s5-7 uniforms in second place.

The Cage - Women were in trousers! It looked comfortable and smart, with the two different collars, the muted colour scheme also matched well with the sets. The addition of the equipment belt and field jacket were also nice touches.

TMP - Think I'll be in the minority here for liking this one. I liked the various styles that were available, made it more visually interesting when seeing a collection of crewmembers. Granted the colours were a little wishy-washy, but I liked how there were multiple coloured department emblems as well.

TNG 3-7 - I have always found this uniform to be very smart-looking, far better than the spandex. No skants though, it would've been interesting to see the variant continue through.

FC-NEM - I like the dark and broody feel of this uniform, again very smart and professional-looking. They also look good on everyone.

I like the looks of TNG, but for practical purposes, I like the Enterprise uniform. My reason is simple: Easy to wear and easy to clean. They're basically today's one-piece flight suit, which I wore for many years. They have pockets where you need them and they zip-up so they're easy to don when you're getting ready for duty. The dark blue color also hides a gravy stain or two.

1) Enterprise: They look like uniforms. Practical, no too colorful, like something real life astronauts would wear.

2) DS9/Voy: Nice, comfortable looking, and the sciences decision had the nicest blue-green of any ST uniform ever.

3) TNG Seasons 3-7: Nice, exotic, yet serious looking, nice color scheme (except for science/medical that bright teal looks good on nobody, it's a wonder Gates McFadden was able to pull it off so well)

4) TNG Seasons 1-2: The science colour was darker and more greenish in this which imho looked better on both Gates McFadden and Marina Sirtis. Curse them for never putting Marina into one of the early uniforms after the pilot! The scant was okay in Season 2 when it was worn with pants and I admit I would have liked to see Brent Spiner in one of them, it would have also been perfectly in-character for Data.

5) The WOK-TUC movie uniforms. The only uniforms that actually look somewhat military. They looked a bit warm and they could have chosen a nicer color scheme, but they were definitely an improvement over the TMP uniforms and even more so over the TOS sweaters/GoGo dresses.

1. TOS Uniforms season 1-3 (the S3 version is my favorite)
2. First Contact - Nemesis
3. NuTrek circa 2250s
4. TWOK era
5. TMP
6. S1-5 DS9
7 S3-7 TNG

I like the TWoK-TUC even though they look fairly military. I also like the simplicity of the TOS 1-3 unis. Jumpsuits are really uncomfortable to wear regardless of their aesthetics.

- Monster Maroons from ST II-VI

- The Mirror Universe version of the ENT unis

- DS9 gray unis

- 29th-century (USS Relativity)

TNG Seasons 1-2: The science colour was darker and more greenish in this which imho looked better on both Gates McFadden and Marina Sirtis

IIRC, that was just because they wore those unis so much that, after being washed over and over, the blue became faded and greenish. (You'll notice that when somebody wears blue for the first time, like Picard in "Tapestry", it's very bright blue, because it's a brand new uni that hasn't been washed and faded.)
