I'm not even American but I love Cap. There's just something about his earnest, never-back-down, good-natured yet soul weary character that appeals (I'm usually an awful cynic)... Doesn't hurt that Evans is both awesome in the role and incredibly easy on the eyes... ;)

The X-Men used to be my favourite until X3, where everything sort of jumped the bridge, so to speak. I'm not a fan of the "reinvigorated" franchise as it stands now.

Iron Man but only because of Downey's charisma in the role and cool suit effects and battles.

Close runner ups are Avengers and Captain America.

Avengers may rocket to the top come May because the first one was near flawless and Cap 2 is maybe even better than Avengers so i have high hopes for Cap 3.

Spider Man went into the gutter after Spider Man 3 and then the Garfield movies.. i like Garfield as an actor but he just doesn't work as Peter Parker.

X-Men had a a rollercoaster.. 1 + 2 were awesome (and i'll be forever greatful for X-Men revitalizing the whole genre), 3 was just plain bad but First Class and Future Past once again pulled it off.

The others don't have enough track record though Guardians performed a small miracle with such an insane premise and Blade is outside MCU continuity (though 1+2 are very cool action movies).

First Class and Future Past once again pulled it off.

Overall, I liked First Class. Some things were really good in that movie (like Kevin Bacon's and Michael Fassbender's acting). Some things were not so great about it though (like Beast's terrible make up and January Jones' terrible acting).

Future Past I thought was the best of all the X-men movies.
