What is your favorite Marvel Film Franchise?

Marvel has really picked up and done well (especially since Disney bought the movie rights for most of the Marvel characters). Which is your favorite?

There hasn't been an X-Men film I haven't enjoyed, I even liked both the Wolverine films. *ducks

There's only been one Avengers film so far, so it's hard to vote for that. And the Avengers group as a whole has been a bit of a mixed bag so far. Cap is the only one who I think has hit on both tries.

I never liked the Raimi Spider-Man. (Never got the hype, honestly.) I thought TAS was on the right track until about half-way through the second one.

Guardians shows a lot of potential, but I'm still a Guardians noob and have no idea where they might go.

Tempted to go for Guardians, but since we're only one movie in with them, I went with THOR instead.

Obviously, I'm a sucker for comic-book movies that are far-out and cosmic. And, yes, I'm counting the days to Doctor Strange.

I love all of the X-Men films to varying degrees except for Wolverine: Origins. So, I'll go with that one.

Among the named choices, I would vote for X-Men because they have the highest number of great films to date (X1, X2, FC, DoFP), but I'm voting for "Other" because the MCU really is one big franchise, for better and worse (but mostly better).

I went with Captain America. I love all of the Marvel made movies, and it was hard to go against Iron Man, but even though I like all 3 IM movies I think CA: TFA and CA:WS were more solid than IM 2 or 3, so it barely edged Iron Man out. For the non Marvel made stuff: I liked the Sam raimi Spider-Man movies, I liked all of the X-Men movies (minus Wolverine Origins), I liked the first Fantastic Four, I liked the Blade trilogy, I liked the Thomas Jane version of Punisher, and I liked Daredevil. Ghost Rider 1 was tolerable but not great, and GR 2 was bad. I haven't seen Elektra, although I actually got it on VHS for 10 cents a few months ago and keep meaning to watch it.

X-Men for me. While I think Iron Man and Captain America have greater induvidual films - 1 and Winter Soldier respectively - it's hard to not vote for the X-Men, what with having X2, FC and DoFP in the line-up.

Avengers only has one movie, so far, since the sequel isn't out yet. And if ya want to count it as a franchise, might as well make the umbrella that all the other MCU movies are under.

Spider-Man, I preferred the Tobey Maquire trilogy to the Andrew Garfield movies.

X-Men has been pretty good, except for the third & Origins.

Iron Man/Hulk/Captain America/Thor can all go with Avengers.

With that in mind, I don't think Hulk is a movie franchise yet, since the two films made for theatrical release aren't related to each other.

Blade's first sequel was the best of those movies.

F4's sequel was the better of those two.

GotG is only one movie in, so far, and again, will tie in with Avengers eventually.

Daredevil & Elektra should be grouped together, since one spun off from the other, though both are kinda crap films.

Both GR movies were stupid.

So, yeah, I guess Avengers is the way to go...

Voted for Avengers purely because it demonstrated a sense of humour which most super hero films avoid (mainly because if you get it wrong, it ruins the film)

With that in mind, looking forward to Ant-Man

In many ways Daredevil is the Rocky IV of Marvel films

For me, it was a three way tie between Avengers, Captain America, and Thor. But I went with Avengers since it brought all of them together, to include Black Widow, Hawkeye. Iron Man, and the Hulk.

Guardians? I still haven't seen it yet, and am not in a great rush to do so.

No way! Daredevil was a weak movie, and Rocky IV was awesome.
