What is the fattiest food on Earth?

I'm trying to find out what the fattiest/highest calorie food is in the world, any ideas?

I don't know about "in the world."

You might want to start HERE.
The Bacon Mug is probably on that list, I imagine.

For regular fast-food crap, try HERE.

vegetable oil @ 9000 kcals per kg

I don't know if you would count that as food. It's not particularly flavoursome, nor much texture, but it is digestible.

edit:

I'm reminded of the people who trek up Everest. They have to drag all their food up with them on sled, and to maximise energy to weight ratio they'll take a couple of hundred blocks of lard and live off that alone during their climb. A small amount of chocolate may be included too for a more pleasant after taste.

For more everyday foods, I can remember looking at my mum's Calorie Counter book when I was a kid and discovering that Cashew Nuts had the highest calorie content per ounce of everything listed in the book.

Real pemmican is very high in fat. It's typically about 50% fat mixed with 50% dried meat (pounded into a powder) with a few berries thrown in.

Beef tallow is pretty commonly used these days, which is 1849 calories per cup (205 grams - with 205 grams of fat).

If you mix in 205 grams of buffalo jerky with cranberries, you'd get another 11 grams of fat at 58 grams of protein, with 109 calories from fat and 513 total calories.

Mix it all together and you get 410 grams of pemmican with 215 grams of fat, 2362 calories (1958 calories from fat), and 58 grams of protein.

Those cheese fries from Outback are super fatty with a side effect of being delicious.

A Hardee's 2/3 Monster Thick Burger 1420 Calories 108g Fat. more burgers Here.

not the fattiest food in the world...but if you did it up like a Monte Cristo...it would be up there.

In terms of actual food, cheesecake is unbelievably bad for you. One cheesecake requires at least 2 pounds or more of cream cheese, a cup or so of heavy cream, and then 8 eggs.

In terms of actual edible foods (ie not pure oils, butter, etc), I'm sure it would be hard to outdo foie gras. I mean, it's more than 60% fat and the cholesterol content is sky-high too. But it is absolutely delicious.

It's especially delicious if you have it with a nice Sauternes. Not that that makes it any heathier... the reverse if anything! But oh so worth it. :D
