What is left to be discussed?

Just curious. What is left to be discussed about this new movie? We need creative posts! Will the phasers disintegrate the target on kill setting? Who did Quinto's hair and makeup? Are there new fabric prints for the new uniforms? When's the new technical manual coming out?

I'm eager to get away from the same, tired, rehashes of the same goddamn arguments on here.

I have a hunch the same, tired, rehashed, goddamn arguments about Star Trek XI will segue right into the same, tired, rehashed, goddamn arguments about Star Trek XII.

Have you seen the ENT forum lately? For that matter, how much new can there be to talk about in TOS? But people always find something to talk about, even if it isn't terribly imaginative. In this case, though, there probably won't be much to discuss until the movie opens for the rest of us.

We can speculate on the location of the Enterprise's water park.

Clearly in one preview, we see Scotty taking a fun trip down the waterslide. I wonder how big it is and how many waterslides they have.

I'd speculate its somewhere near the bowling alley.

Everyone knows that the Olympic-sized swimming pool is in the lower decks. The slide is probably just Scotty's way of getting there from Engineering.

That would explain the racks of inner tubes that Scotty keeps in engineering.

Well, I can't tell you who did the maeup, but I did see pictures of the new uniforms online for sale. What do you call them anyway - toy uniforms? Uniform replicas? Uniform costumes? You know what I mean... the thing Barbara Adams will wear to her next jury duty.

And they look kinda good for being the cheap product they are.

Im wondering if we see Kirks secret shag-pad somewhere, ala Austin Powers. We know its there, that Rigelian Black Snow Leopard skinned revolving bed. A small dungeon and a french chicken.


Maybe thats where number 1 and Rand are, locked up waiting to Kirked.
