What is/are the only films in your DVD collection you "never" watch?

I have been collecting DVDs since 2001, and although I have sold/gave away hundreds of them over the years, I have gotten it down to a collection of 122 DVDs I would not mind rewatching over the years.

Except, for one:

Star Trek: Nemesis - Special Collector's Edition

By itself, I just flatout do not want to watch this film.

As part of a TNG movie marathon...well, considering I can stomach watching Generations and First Contact together and Insurrection by itself (it plays like a regular TNG episode), but not all 4 TNG films all in a row back-to-back...I just don't/can't see myself jumping for joy in wanting to watch this film ever again (The first time I saw it was in theaters back in December 2002; the 3 subsequent times I tried rewatching it on DVD, I fell asleep.).

Nemesis doesn't feel like TNG at all (lacking its optimism, feel, tone, etc.), and...well, you guys know the rest.

I even rewatch Rocky V for its kitsch value, and sometimes feel obligated to rewatch that Asian-male bashing Joy Luck Club out of my Asian American obligations, and even Die Another Day as part of a 007 marathon...but, Nemesis?

Nope, I just cannot find the occassion to rewatch this one. It neither allows the viewers (IMHO) to re-live TNG nostalgia, nor is it a good film on its own. I don't know what it is, but a good Star Trek film nor for that matter a good film on its own it sure ain't. I don't know what it is, but if I weren't a completist and if it didn't have the words "Star Trek" written all over it, it simply would not be in my DVD library.

Do any of you guys have any DVDs you simply do not watch, but simply keep it in your collection for one reason or another?

I realized after looking at my DVD shelf the other day that I own "Highlander 2: Renegade Edition" and I've never actually opened it. It was purchased with all the other HL movies a few years back, but it's the only one I haven't revisited. I saw it once as a rental though... :P

TROY, for a few years back with Pitt & Bana. I've never gotten through that. I bought it because of an ex and every time we'd start on it, we'd start on each other and I've just never tried watching it on my own.

Lilo & Stitch and Star Trek V: The Final Frontier are the two lowest-rated movies in my collection that come to mind. They are mostly there for Disney feature animation and Trek completionism.

Babylon 5: The Lost Tales. Watched it right after it came out, and now it just sits there on my shelf. I haven't gotten rid of it, because I know that I'll want to see that title sequence again some day. Maybe I should just check Youtube for it, and sell the DVD.

My DVD collection is huge, so I've got loads of stuff I haven't watched once, let alone twice.

Superman III and IV. They were part of the Superman Ultimate Collection. I wanted everything in the tin but those two movies. I've toyed with the idea of checking out IV again, but haven't gotten around to it.

Except in the case of being part of a collection, I don't keep movies or shows that I don't intend to watch again at some point. With as much crap as I tend to buy anymore, I need the shelf space for something I'll watch and enjoy.

Prom Night (1980)- This movie is just so boring and the VHS transfer doesn't help it either
Friday the 13th part V- Blah! Worst movie of the bunch

The "Lord of the Rings" movies. I have all 3 and never once watched them (not even at the theater) until my brother came to visit last Christmas and wanted to watch the first one. I guess I bought them because they were cheap but all the hype about them turned me off. Seeing the first movie didn't change my opinion and I will probably not bother seeing the other 2 movies.

There are (too many) films in my collection that I still haven't watched yet, but intend to at some point, so those don't count.

Probably the only one I've bought just for the sake of having it, but haven't watched — and won't watch unless I'm good and drunk — is good ol' Star Trek: Nemesis.

Poor Nemesis everyone's hating on that movie. I'm in the minoriy here but Nemesis ranks in my top 4 Trek movies after TWOK, First Contact, and the Undiscovered country.

Yeah, I got it too and haven't even touched those movies.

There a few movies that I've "retired" from my collection. Among them the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

There's quite a few movies in my "offical" collection I likely won't watch again for a very long time.

I have a bunch of movies I feel like I _should_ watch on DVD but haven't gotten around to watching yet/in a long time- Stardust, Rashomon, Shadow of the Vampire, Event Horizon (I want to hear the commentary).

I have a bunch of movies I feel like I _should_ watch on DVD but haven't gotten around to watching yet/in a long time- Stardust, Rashomon, Shadow of the Vampire, Event Horizon (I want to hear the commentary).

I think the only thing that'll get me to watch it is a Rifftrax on SupesIV and even then I'd weigh my options.

For whatever it's worth, the next two movies are much better. The first one just feels really slow and talky. I think the big problem I have with the trilogy is that it doesn't feel like a trilogy of 3 different movies that can be watch at your leisure. They are one, giant story that doesn't really stop, and if you watch one, you kind of have to watch the other two very soon afterwards (and in order too), in my opinion.

The only movie in my collection that I'm unlikely to watch again is the Boondock Saints. It just didn't interest me that much. I might watch in one more time because the last time I couldn't understand most of the dialouge, but it was just kind of boring.
