It would be like that time Q got turned into a Human in that TNG episode.
Although why the continuum decided to make him Human and not any other species is a mystery.
Also, why didn't Captain Kathy ask Quinn to zap them back to Earth before the asylum hearing, on the condition that if she ruled against his application, she wouldn't complain if he decided to zap them back to where they were previously.

Actually Q said that he got to pick the species the contium turned him into and he picked human.
Janeway had given him quarters, I suppose full shipwide privledges. I don't recall if would just have been a averge crewman, since he had not attended Star Fleet Acadamy that is about the best he could have hoped for. He seemed to be middle age so his probably could have expected to live for at least another 30-40 years...

even without powers, Quinn would've been smart enough to get them home in a jiff. That's why he died. Remember when Q Jr. opened that spatial rift using the Delta Flyer (that everyone forgot about) ??
True enough. No doubt he also could have upgraded all of Voyagers systems as well
