I may as well trot out my old idea....

I'd like to see a Turn Left-ish story where some alien screws with the Doctor's personal timeline and creates several alternate (or artificial) realities in which each of the living classic Doctors never regenerated and survived into the new series... basically recreating some of the recent episodes with the old Doctors replacing the current Doctor and seeing how things might have gone differently.

The storylines could be touching and nostalgic (Tom Baker in 'School Reunion'), action-adventure (Peter in 'Smith and Jones'), humorous (Colin Baker in 'The Runaway Bride'), etc.

Of course, midway through the episode all of the Doctors would realize that something is wrong, and somehow cross out of the artificial realities (with their new companions in tow) and join forces with the current Doctor to set things right.

That way you wouldn't have to worry about the changes in the actor's appearances, you could update the wardrobe if needed, and it would supply a hook for the some of the newer audience who might not know (or care) about the older Docs... as they would already be familiar with the current eps. and companions.

It's Tennant-centric because it was posted in 2008- not to intentionally diss Matt.

Were there two different versions of Dreamland released? Because the only way i was able to sit through it was to listen to it like a radio drama and kept the screen minimized. The CGI was absolutely appalling.

I've often thought that Sean Pertwee looks and sounds enough like his father to pass for him (okay, the hair not so much, but that's what makeup is for.) I have to wonder how he would feel about that, though; based on his public statements I'd guess he'd be okay with it, but you never know.

Haven't seen Sam Troughton, so I can't speak to that.

^ I was thinking in a vocal capacity for both, an animated project. But yeah, Sean could passably imitate his old man, with a wig and make up. THough apparently he has said that while he'd be happy to appear in DW, he wouldn't want to play his father's incarnation of the Doctor. But maybe he would be more willing merely to lend his voice.
