Hey did anyone pick up on the "Admiral Archer and his dog" quote from Scotty in it? About beaming his dog away and not returning... funny as. But having said that... wouldn't that mean (if its the same Jonathan Archer) he lived to be about 130/140
Do tell me, what part of alternative universe/timeline people have so many difficulties to grasp?That means EVERYTHING that ever happened in TNG, DS9 or VOY involving Vulcans..... NEVER HAPPENED!!!!!
I'm beside my self.
No Ensign Vorek on Voyager, Probably no Valeris in Undiscoverd Country, no baseball playing all Vulcan crew from DS9. (I THINK YOU GET THE POINT)
JJ ABRAMS has taken "LIVE LONG AND PROSPER" and flushed it down the toilet.
Oh, I know, but it's just fucking pointless. It's an enjoyable movie, it explains away any problems with continuity, and it has some fun. What's not to like?**emphasis mine**Pretty much everything ever could be done better, doesn't mean it wasn't good.
Frankly it's better this way. Things can change without affecting the original time line and getting a load of fans fucking whinging about how it doesn't fit with continuity, and you can have dramatic tension and not just think "Well Spock lives to be at least 180, Scotty is around in TNG, and McCoy too."
Oh, but they do, Bob. They very much do.
What have they done?
The The Official STAR TREK Grading & Discussion Thread [SPOILERS] pinned at the top of the forum would have been a good place to start. With less drama, though.Very well where do i begin?
<snip>
This is completely unnecessary. I don't want to see it again.I'd recommend a good psychologist.(AS YOU CAN TELL I SERIOUSLY NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS)
This is unnecessary, too. It's also flaming, for which you now have a warning.Well clearly it hasn't been ERASED DICKHEAD its still standing on my dvd shelf!!!!
