What has been some of your favorite comic books or comic book stories or issues over the years?

Also I know their was a really good one that dealt with the conflict between Spock and Sarek over the Carddisian peace treaty and sort of followed up that throwaway line from the show.
That was Wildstorm's Enter The Wolves, which is also one that I read and really enjoyed. It's actually a sequel to the novel Sarek, but I've never read that one so I'm not really sure how they connect. I read it with no problem, without even realizing it was a sequel to the book, so whatever connection is there must not be to strong.

I always thought of Enter the Wolves as the first part of a trilogy, the second part of which was "Sarek," and the final part of which was "Unification."

I think you may be confusing two identically-named stories. Enter the Wolves is actually a prequel to the TNG episode "Sarek," in that it shows Sarek's wedding to Perrin and the beginnings of his negotiations with the Legarans. It's also a "Unification" prequel, showing what led to Spock and Sarek's falling-out over the Cardassians. The only possible connection I can see to Crispin's novel Sarek is that it alludes to the death of Amanda, but I can't tell if the references are to anything specific from the novel's version thereof.
