What happened to Lorca's pet Tribble?

Throughout the first season Lorca had a pet Tribble that sat in his ready room and purred all the time. But it seems Pike doesn't have it in the ready room this year. So what happened? Did someone else on the crew take it? Did Cornwell vaporize it with her phaser? Did Georgiou ditch it on Qo'nos for shits and giggles? Has it been recruited by Section 31? Is it connected to the Red Angels?
