What games are you playing currently?

Cutscene problems are often harddrive related. Do you have an SSD/m.2 etc? And if it's on that - do you have enough space? Check your virtual mem. It's usually virtual mem. Check those settings and increase it.

I don't think so if you go on the forums this seems to be an issue with a lot of people. It's not isolated.

Downloading Princess Peach Showtime.
I just bought a regular switch not the OLED version because that was the cheaper option if I got tired of it and didn't use it much. Anyone know if there is a way to set screen timeout delay before it goes dim?

RoboCop: Rogue City (PS5)

Probably the first great movie to video game transition that I’ve seen. A blast to play. Currently $38 US tax included on the PlayStation Store.

I was inspired to revisit Starfield. I never hated it, but I did fall out of interest with it. Started up a new playthrough, with some mods as well and... I gotta say i'm enjoying it quite a bit. A few QoL mods have gone a long way.

I'm not sure if it's a result of Bethesda updates, mods, or a combo of the two but travelling around feels so much better now. Maybe i'm coming in with a different perspective, but i'm totally ok with the fast travel mechanic and find it to be quite intuitive. I'm also not even remotely interested in the exploration aspect this time around, knowing it's pointless and there's nothing out there, which I think is also increasing my enjoyment of the game.

I've been playing Tales of Arise for the past week or so (since I finished FFVII: Rebirth) and I'm really really enjoying it.

I should know how to do this but can't get past the two dudes in front of the saloon in Princess Peach Showtime. I don't mind this little game.

Tried Bioshock Infinite but do not like it on the switch. Glad I got it so cheap as Nintendo don't do refunds like steam if you play under 2 hours.

If you love that you will love Forbidden West and there's tons of lore to think about, topical stuff about technology and techbros.

There is a sequal to it?, nice to know, so once i am done this one i will give it a look, although thay might not be for some time as this game has the one thing i like, collecting stuff, plus i just found out that there are different bows that do different damage, and also a sling, and i am a good way through the game and i just discovered that. lol

Helldivers 2 has taken the 'Friday night gaming' slot with my fireteam. At least until Destiny 2's new season comes out.

I beat Princess Peach: Showtime. Now I'm playing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Not to spoil any details, but I'm kind of stuck on an area where I have to have a certain ability to get past a monster, but I can't figure out where to get that ability. So I'll need to go look at some walkthroughs.

Sunday Rivals on Steam Deck.

A fun, arcade style American football game. I think of it as a spiritual successor to Tecmo Super Bowl, from way back when. No NFL or player licenses, but a lot of customization options.

That's not a bad game but I hate timing things because I can't keep up the cooking room never got finished

Just an FYI... like a lot of people I decided to replay FO4 after watching the Prime Show (which is fantastic btw) but I ran into trouble on my alienware m18. It was so discouraging that I wound up installing on ps5 instead even though back when it came out I wrote an actual PC mod for it and resented not being able to use it (though I suppose I could probably go through the trouble of converting the mod for PS5 since it's a super basic mod that only boosts Kellogg's outfit stats to make it wearable longer while refraining from going full OP with it). Nonetheless, since I'm pausing the playthrough for the update coming next week that's supposed to add some goodies and a quest, I figured I'd tinker around and figure out what the hell was wrong with the PC install.

Well it turns out that if you have Optimus or another adaptive tech in your laptop/PC (basically a program that allows your laptop or PC to switch between Intel integrated based graphics and your discrete RTX GPU based graphics for certain tasks FO4 will freak the hell out. The simplest fix is to go into your nvidia (or equivalent) graphics control panel and switch it to always use your nvidia card but there's another work around using FO4s prefs and .ini that I haven't tried.

FO4 kept setting me at 'unrecognized' despite a game ready driver and an RTX card and setting things at the lowest setting. Even with that though I'd launch and get a black screen without the system locking up - still just stayed black. I suspected that the problem might've been the 18 inch screen which is kind of an odd size. Turns out though it was the onboard graphics used for small tasks (I had mine set to only use the RTX card when it needed to - basically it's only needed during gaming and saves battery but since I run plugged in, switching it over and losing the power saving isn't a big deal for me).

As for what I'm playing while waiting on the update.... Yakuza: Like a Dragon!

Some went to FO4 after the show, I went back to NV.

It's been quite awhile since i've explored the Mojave, and it's every bit still as good. I've never actually done an Independent Vegas run, so... that's where i'm going. Playing around with some different things I haven't done before, doing things different ways just because.
