Coleco Adam home computer system (I still have this)

Sega Dreamcast (that's probably out of chronological order)

In chronological order of ownership:

Nintendo Wii
Nintendo DS
Nintendo DS Lite

Super Nintendo
Gameboy

Gameboy Pocket
Nintendo 64
Playstation 2

I have played lots of great games on all of these consoles, but if I had to pick a favorite I would choose the SNES. I still own it, and even took it out of storage earlier this year so I could play Castlevania IV.

These days I am just a PC gamer. Not that there aren't some console games I would like to play, it's just that I force myself to choose one or the other do to time and money limitations.

NES
Nintendo 64
Game Boy
Sega Genesis
Playstation
Playstation

My two favorite consoles out of that list are the NES and PS2, which, for me, is the 'new-gen' version of the NES in terms of the strength and breadth of its game library and its longevity in terms of sales and popularity.

I can't quite remember in what order my brother and I bought them through the years, but here we go...

Commodore 64
Amiga
Colecovision
Sony HitBit
Sega Game Gear
Nintendo Gameboy
Sony Playstation
Gameboy Advance
Playstation 2 Slim

Now I play mainly on my Xbox 360, and more rarely on my PC.

Mega Drive II (Still had it a few years ago but moved 3 times since then and I think it might have either got binned or Salvoed)
Gameboy (still have and works, find it once a year and play a bit of Tetris on it)
PS 1 (I think it went to the Salvos)
PS 2 (sold)
PS 3 (current system)

Hey, you are the first person to list the Virtual Boy.

You know, it's funny. The guy who was tasked with leading the team that made that thing wanted more time, but Nintendo insisted it get cranked out ASAP, so it flopped. But had he been allotted the additional time he needed, I think it might have stood a much stronger chance of survival.

Still no one else with a Virtual Boy, I see.

C'mon Warioland was awesome! Especially in red.

There was this demo VirtualBoy at the BX in Alaska. I played it a lot, but frankly I wouldn't have paid money for it. It was really hard on the eyes.
