Lets see...
ZX Spectrum 48K - Sold it years ago, but a while back I went and bought another one in impulse at a car boot sale for a couple quid.
Atari ST - Technically it was my older brother's, but I used it almost as much as he did and sort of inherited it when he moved out. I think he ended up with it again and either still has it (serious computer hardware pack-rat that man, it's not even funny!)
Mega Drive II - Former display model that we picked up on the cheap. I stupidly bought the 32X add-on and learnt my lesson. Ended up donating it to an after school club.
SNES - Didn't actually own it, but we *had* one for over a year. Basically one of my brother's mates leant it to him and forgot about it until 12 months later. It only had Mario All Stars and Super Star Wars, but that was plenty!
N64 - Probably the first one that I actually bought since the speccy, ended up donating it to the same after school club that got the Mega Drive. Only had a handful of games for it, those things were way too expensive.
PS1 - Don't remember exactly how or when we ended up with that, though I'm pretty sure it was second hand. I think it died in the end, but I still have a bunch of games that (I think) work on the PS2.
PS2 - (^duh) Bought this used several years back for about £80 and still going strong (though I rarely find the time.) Have accumulated a pretty good if modest selection of games though. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Beyond Good and Evil, MGS 2 & 3 to name a few.
Gamecube - Again, bought used (are you sensing a pattern yet?) this time off eBay. Good deal too as I trading in most of the kiddy games that came with it and got enough to buy Half Life 2 for the PC brand new. Bonus! Mostly I bought it for the Zelda games. It came with Windwaker and Ocarina and I got a bunch of others since including the Metroid games and Twin Snakes (the MGS remake.)
I've also acquired a Gameboy Advance and a PSP from eBay, though being long sighted I have trouble playing them for long without getting a headache. No current gen consoles (yet) as I was put off by the cost and the reports of high failure rates, even years after the launch of both PS3 & XBox 360. More or less exclusively a PC gamer these days. There aren't many console exclusive titles that really interest me, at least not enough to buy a damn console to play it on. The only one that came close to tempting me was MGS 4 before it came out...but I hear that turned out to be a bit of a mess.
