I saw it in 4K 2D at our local theater. Not interested in 3D.

Once in 3D IMAX, once in 2D.
I'm seeing it tomorrow in 3D. IMAX did add something to the experience, but not enough to make it worth another go. I like the 3D a lot.

I saw it the first time in IMAX 3D. It was OK, but very distracting in many scenes (too many foreground embers on Nibiru). In others, only one element of the scene was in focus, and the others weren't. Next time, I'm seeing it in old-fashioned 2D.
I saw ST09 at the Cinerama Dome, and was completely upset for the first half of the movie. The curvature of the screen was very apparent. The entire opening act with the Kelvin was warped beyond belief. I vowed never to see a movie there again.

^ Well, to be fair, what did you expect from a theater that was originally made for Cinerama? The screen's not going to be the same ratio as for normal films made these days.
