last i heard it was going to be delayed, but that was six months ago with out a word, so anyone know anything about it, or have heard anything through the rumor mill?

Yes, there is 11 minutes of CGI action in part 3 and as that gets close to being done we can safely project the date.

Great news!

now all of the people who "gave up on this" have to follow through and not watch it or comment on it right? ;)

haha this is exciting news thanks!

one thing that you guys might want to look into
would be distributing it via veoh
cause you can upload it and then they host it for people to download.

I really hope you can release the first part on time. You guys don't need anymore setbacks and bad press. This production looks like it will be really good and I hope worth the Wait.
I am keeping a Wait and see attitude but I am hoping for the best.

Well, as one who has been skeptical of this project in the past (based solely on the participation of Sky Conway) I'll happily eat a plate of crow if it's released on time for free. I've always said I wanted it to succeed, I simply had my doubts given Conway's questionable history in previous scifi endeavors.

So if it comes out, I'll definitely watch it and offer my comments. ;)

We are not using Veoh, our main distributer is Dragonfly, it is what NV is using currently with great results.

Glad to hear it. You don't want to repeat the mistake New Voyages did with their last EP. I tried to download the thing a half dozen times and never could get the whole EP.

I just visited the website for the first time. AMAZING.

I posted this message in another (non SF, but lots of fans) forum I live at:

You have to see this.

Go to THIS SITE and click on "view videos" and then "view trailer" and be... astounded.

Holy frikkin crap. I mean... How the HELL did they do this?

Appearing are Nichelle Nichols (as Capt. Uhura), Walter Koenig (as Capt. Chekov), Grace Lee Whitney (as Janice rand), Allen Ruck (as Capt. Harriman from ST Generations), Tim Russ (as Tuvok), Garret Wang (the guy who played Ens. Kim), Gary Graham (the guy who played Soval), J.G. Hertzler (the guy who played Martok), Ethan Phillips (the guy who played Neelix), Chase Masterson (the chick who played the dabo girl from Quark's place is now an Orion hottie), Cirroc Lofton (the guy who played Jake Sisko), Herbert Jefferson (the original Boomer from Galactica 1978)...

How the HELL do fan-produced shows get this kind of line up, THOSE kind of effects (holy crap, just WATCH) and what the PROS give us is "Star Trek Nemesis" and "Star Trek Five, the Shatner Experiment"?

Man, am I lookin' forward to this baby.

Tony

Love the avatar, doubleohfive - but has Sam agreed to take the Vice Presidency? Or is this going to be one of those Mirror-Universe promotion dealies?

FleetLord, is there a reason for limiting this to streaming only? And I don't want to here how great this streaming site has been for NV. I want to show this to my dad, but I will most likely have to do it in a house with a dialup connection. In order to have any shot at this I need to be able to download the episode first and then bring my laptop over. Why won't you provide a download option? Torrent, http, ftp, I don't care what method you use, just let us download it.

I won't bitch on how you get it to me as long as you get it to me. I will say please have a better system then NV. Their last release was a bear to get. You might want to look into how Hidden Frontiers does it. I have never had a problem with their system and I get it on the first try.
