What dr who dvd do you have?.

I have every episode of the Original Run (although as most of us know the first two Doctors suffer from mostly audio only episodes) and I have The David Tennant Specials as well as Series 5 and 6. My room-mate has Series 1 and 2 of the Davis Era. I also have all of the Specials from Classic.

You cannot go wrong with a story that has the original Tardis crew: The Doctor, Susan, Barbara, and Ian.

I've got about 20 of the original series DVDs; mostly Davison's stuff. The only nuWho disc I have so far is the Blu-Ray of "A Christmas Carol". I also found the VHS of "The Ice Warriors" recently.

Oooh the Ice Warriors! That is an exceptional VHS! Where did you get that from?

eBay, I think. I quite liked the included reconstruction, though I hope that when it comes out on DVD they do a full recon (or animate the episodes). Alas, the included CD is mostly useless, as the description admitted. I need to run it through a DiscDoctor to see if it can be saved.

I had a copy of this some years ago but the CD was noticeably missing for some strange reason when I got it. I don't have it anymore but also can't wait for a DVD release. I hope they do it some justice.

The existing episodes look excellent on VHS; I can't wait to see what they look like when ViDFIRE'd. My CD is useless due to a bad scratch; it seems like it was poorly packaged in R1, but the intended package was great. Since it's the only remaining near-complete Troughton story to be released, I assume we'll get it in 2013 with a good deal of extras, including the newly recovered episode of "The Underwater Menace".

yeh I hope they do some justice to the recently found episodes. To think, no one really thought we would find anything else that was missing as so much time has passed.

The simple fact that we did recover those episodes makes me believe that "The Tenth Planet" will be the absolute last release of the DVD range, in hopes that the BBC can recover that last episode. The way the release schedule is shaping up also puts it in the anniversary year, so I wouldn't be surprised to see it released on the actual date of the 50th anniversary; since that's in November 2013 it serves both the nostalgia and waiting purposes.

I like what I'm hearing here, friend. I agree it makes sense to have it as the last classic range release. Having it released on the actual anniversary would make it even more extra special. I'm down with that!

I enjoyed the Ice Warriors first time through but subsequent viewings I found it dragged, even with two of it's episodes missing. It's been 10 years since I last saw it so it might have improved on me since then.

Then again I mainly got it for the Missing Years documentary; it was my first glimpse (other than the footage from episode 6 from 'Daleks: The Early Years') at Power of the Daleks, indeed many episodes that only exist as clips.

Special Edition. Any thoughts on this release?

Coming up in the next few months are some Tom Baker releases, "The Face of Evil" and "The Robots of Death:Special Edition." Any one interested in these releases?
They co-star Leela as the companion. I think watching them will easily get me in the mood for some audios!

A year or two back, our collection got a big boost when somebody dumped their collection at a used DVD shop, those are the ones I have marked "purchased used".

Everything thats available on DVD for Doctor Who, Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood, i have.
Every other surviving story is on one of my hard-drives recorded off air and awaiting replacement.
Also have all the Loose Cannon recontructions of missing stories and EVERY Doctor Who related audio adventures.
