What do I think of the 21st Century? I think it's hard to say and way too early.
If I were alive at the time, how accurately could I have judged the 20th Century in 1909? Two World Wars, the Great Depression, the Korean and Vietnman "Conflicts", Watergate, the Energy Crisis, the Hostage Crisis, and all the stuff I'm leaving out that doesn't even involve America?
Not that the 21st Century has been great, we've had 9/11, Katrina, Sars, war in Iraq and Afghanistan, a major Recession, retirements either delayed or completely gone... but how much of that is actually indigenous to this century and how much of it is left over from what happened in the last? Simply put, I don't think we're really in the 21st Century 21st Century yet. Though we're starting to get close.
