What do you really hate shopping for?

Clothes. If I had my way, I'd wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday--and since I don't work, I usually can.

Health Insurance. I have coverage through a job but I need something a little more and good grief it's been a bit of a pill. Renters and Auto insurance was a breeze.

And shoes.

I hate shopping for anything, I hate ALL shopping. But I think I hate clothes shopping most of all for the same reasons as the quote below.

I hate shopping for clothes. Mostly it's the trying something on, finding out it doesn't fit, and trying something else on. It's just so time-consuming and boring.

Bathing suits.

I haven't shopped for a new one since my honeymoon. This is not usually a problem due to the fact that I can't swim. However, we've been travelling more, and staying in places with saunas and hot tubs...so it is time.

I am dreading this excursion even more than a root canal...

I don't think I have bought a bathing suit for more than 25 years. On the rare occasion I go to the beach I hust wear shorts and a t-shirt.

I hate shopping for anything. Clothes are a pain. But everything else sucks too, trying to find a decent deal, separating marketing hype from what products can actually deliver, reconciling reviews of the same product with completely different conclusions. I hate it all.

Online shopping has made some of it better, but despite that I have been sitting around for at least a month trying to figure out which absurdly expensive Vitamix blender is really the one for me.

Pretty much everything but books. I hate shopping, especially if there's no real "goal" in mind. My wife likes to browse. Me, I'm the find what what you need and go home type.

Clothes shopping is the most annoying with all the trying stuff on. Shoes are a particular frustration as they are seldom wide enough for me. Sales people, I know it's their job, but sales people can be very frustrating if they are pushy sellers.

Anything not online. Too many people just love to use retail stores as their social outlets. How dreadfully inconvenient it is for them to say excuse me to two people taking up the whole aisle when I want to get by.

Personally, I don't hate shopping for anything, somethings I dislike and some shops I dislike going in due to shite customer service, but out and out hate? nope, not at all.

^I just hate the hassle of trying to find the right size. I can be a Small or Medium for T-Shirts, Shoe size anything from an 8-10. Casual shirts can vary as well. I could spend hours fidning a suit that fits comfortably. Just about the only thing I could buy without trying it are trousers and underwear. Could I be doing something more enjouyable with my time yes.

I don't mind shoe shopping, though it can be a pain because my feet are very flat, but I'm disliking clothes shopping more and more. I'm anywhere from a UK 14 to 18, depending on the cut and the material of the item. I can't buy much of anything off the rack any more without trying it on, and that's so tedious.

I don't like any shopping, but shopping for clothes is definitely the worst. Especially now that I'm a middle-aged fat female, I absolutely detest trying things on. Why do stores insist on strip lights in the changing rooms? Those are guaranteed to emphasize every varicose vein and cellulite bump, not a pretty sight! So shopping for clothes always makes me feel bad about myself, reason enough to hate it.

Luckily I can wear anything at work, as long as my clothes are clean and not too scruffy, since I'm not in contact with customers.

Well I think we have a winner, which is basically clothes/shoes. I'm sure it's easy if you can but of the peg without trying it on. But for those of us that have to, due to the cut of the item it's quite tedious.

Right? You'd think they'd put soft romantic lighting, and maybe the funhouse mirror that makes you look thinner, so they'd sell more!
