ok, I took off of work sick this afternoon, so ive got absolutely nothing to do but sit here and feel like crap, so Im gonna start this thread;
When your not at work, or at school, what do you?
I would assume there is going to be alot of Trek related stuff.
for me however, in my free time, I enjoy working on and being around Monster Trucks, I have a couple of friends who work in the industry and am friends with a few drivers and whenever they're close I pitch in and lend a hand, Ive run the gambit from running the sound for the announcer to working on the trucks, last event I crewed I got the ear splitting job of feeding the motor cause the guy I was crewing for was having fuel pick up issues due to the relatively cold weather and a weak fuel pump(basically standing on the rear planetary next to a $20,000, 1,500HP motor with a squirt bottle full of gas squirting it down into the Blower to get the motor to fire off so it will build up enough back pressure and heat for the fuel pump to start pumping the Methanol-Alcohol that they run off of)
next month me and a friend of mine are going over to cajun country to help lend a hand to some guys who are working to restore one of the earliest Monster Trucks.
its fun, but its alot of work to, that same last event I crewed at, I got there @ 10 Am and sat down a grand total of maybe 20 minutes until I left the Arena grounds at 1AM
