What do Time Lords Really Look Like?

According to the 10th Doctor's recollection, it seems that the Time Lords do look humanoid at the very least. Whether this recollection of his is colored by anything in particular, I have no idea.

Great screenshots. The Timelord with his head bowed is particularly reverent.

I liked how the feel of Gallifrey and Timelords in this flashback was solemn and stoic. It shed off the goofiness of the old series quite nicely, while still keeping the costumes and ideas.

Having just recently watched The War Games, I have a new favorite line I think.

The Doctor left Gallifrey because, as he says, "I got bored."

Did't one doctor (the first new, Chris Eccleston) say that he didn't know how he would turn out? He could have 2 heads? Episode of the first new season, just before the Christmas invasion. I might be getting it wrong though...

Although, he could have been joking with her. He did laugh after saying "Imagine me with no head".

On the other hand, he was dying, sort of. He could be trying to take the edge off for her. Most humans don't react so good to regenerations (says so on my timelord handbook, right afer the chapter on how fun bananas are).

For what it's worth, in the dreaded and controversial TV Movie, when the Doctor and Grace are discussing the matter, she asked him if he can become another species and he replies, "Well, yes, yes, but only when I die...".
