25 years later my kids are watching Weird Al Yankovic videos on YouTube and my teenage daughter agrees that A-Ha's Take On Me video is one of the best ever.

Pipe wrench fight!
Isn't "porn" the obvious answer?
It wasn't particularly available in my circumstances. Best I could ever hope for was to convince my dad to let me rent
Wild Things to watch while he & my step-mother were out of the house.
For me, we're looking at a period around 1995-2002. Of course, I can't remember everything from that period but there are some that stick out.

Reruns of
M*A*S*H were common and difficult to get away from. (Personally, I like the show, but it's sometimes a struggle to get through the post-Frank Burns episodes and the post-Radar episodes are excruciating, especially when they focus on Klinger.) There were also a lot of reruns of
Star Trek &
Star Trek: The Next Generation.
High school was when I was first exposed to anime. My friends would often hole up in a classroom during lunch and use the room's VCR to watch
Ranma 1/2, Saber Marionette J, & some other shows that I could never bring myself to care about. (Although I remember some
Gundam-ish thing where a character stared out the window of his spaceship and talked about how much he loved the Earth. My friend exclaimed, "God! Why don't he & the Earth just get a room?!")
My secret love for much of my early teenage years was
Power Rangers; starting from my 13th birthday, which was around the premiere of
Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, until the end of
Power Rangers in Space when I lost interest.
