Well, it's hard to believe I started this way back in 2012, but it's time for my eighth annual "What Did You Read" thread!

I'm still reading Interstat. I'm up to the middle of 1981, and the news just broke that Spock Will DIE! in the upcoming Trek "TV Movie" (as was planned at the time.) Holy shit, the weeping, wailing & gnashing of teeth is of positively biblical proportions! Can't wait to see the reactions in another dozen or so issues when TWoK comes out.

Those Best of Trek books are a good reminder that crazy-ass fan theories and tiresome fulminating about continuity and canon and such are not new. The Internet just gives them a wider audience, but they've always been there......
