Last night, hubby was feeling crummy, so all he wanted was Campbell's chicken soup and toast.

I ended up eating a Lean Cuisine frozen dinner (bleh).


Tonight, however, I shall make a proper chicken dinner.

Back from the restaurant where I had a wonderful dinner :

we share an assiette de charcuterie with a great white wine

After that there was a magret de canard sauce au poivre vert, ratatouille et purée maison

Last night, made satay chicken served with cooked brown rice and steamed green beans. Tonight I'm having it again.

Thai chicken soup with coconut and lemongrass, with a bit of rice noodles thrown in. Found a pretty good recipe, I think I'll make it again.

Went to my favorite pub and had Bangers and Mash served on a Yorkshire Pud. Deliciousness! Had several Guinness as well.
